Well, I saw the review, and sure enough - yet another group that could not figure out the back seat.

They complain about rear seat leg space, and then fold the seat, and there is clearly the extra 4" to the 3rd row. So they didn't hit that release lever that gives you the extra 2nd row leg room.

How many is that? You'd think these reviewers would be smarter than that.

This was just hysterical. The extra back seat leg room was one of the biggest reasons I traded my 05 Outback for the Tribeca. I watched this show, too. It was so obvious that the demonstrator was only moving the reat seat the first 4", and not grabbing the secondary release and moving it another 4" (this takes two hands, by the way).

For the record, I am not currently using the third row seat, so I leave the 2nd row seat in the farthest-back position. Plenty of leg and hip room for three adults (as we tried recently).

Well, Motor Week could always read the manual, but then I rarely do, either

Kim, there's a separate section in the warranty manual explaining the California warranty. It's pretty much the same, and spells out all the details. Your local dealer should be able to grab a manual out of one of their stock and go over it with you.

Good luck!

Sounds like the standard PR response.

I assume nothing happens when you hit that RSE/aux button on the radio?? Does it even switch to a silent input??

Would be interesting to look at the service manual and see if there are any wiring diagrams for the vehicle harness which show the in-car wiring for the rear aux-in.

I agree Subaru is behind the ball here!

Actually I have family in Florence and down there quite often - nice place.

Yes, I have had my B9 for a week now - absolutely love it! Hate the cargo cover (read my previous post from about a week ago) but with minor therapy I am getting over that...

I checked the dealers in Dayton, Columbus and Cincinnati and got the best deal at Beechmont Subaru in Cincinnati way over on the east side. A bit of a drive for me but was worth it. No problems with the dealership, got a good deal and lifetime oil changes. I preordered May 20 and it came in June 30. One of the easiest car deals I have had.

That's cool. Of course, Beechmont is one of the closest ones to me and I've noticed on their website that they have one of the largest selections of Tribecas too I think.

The cargo cover does sound a little rinky dink. I guess they couldn't do the "roller shade" type because of the seat movement. Thanks for replying and it's nice to know that I'm not the only person on the forum from this area! I was beginning to think I was!

I'll be up your way next weekend for the airshow. I just love the Thunderbirds!!!
