It does make one wonder why the RLs are going for 41K in Chicago and CA. I know the TLs are good cars and a good value, but I'm having trouble overlooking the plastic wood trim that comes in the TLs and MDXs. I would gladly pay extra for real wood, but it's not an option. Have to upgrade to RL for that. How are you enjoying your new car? Thanks for the info.

I traded in my old 2003 TL and got my new RL. I paid $41,300 for the RL and got KBB for the trade at Vandergriff. I dealt with every dealer in the D/FW area (there are four). Vandergriff gave me the most hassle-free experience. The dealer gave me a much better interest rate through Honda Finance than any other bank could get me.   The car is great. I love all of the technology and it works well. BTW, this forum helped me out a great deal in negotiating with the dealerships.   What a value; ain't nothing anywhere near the RL for the money. Great overall experience.

Don't know where they are with pricing currently, but I have bought two cars from them and think they are very fair and willing to deal. My 05 RL has almost 23,000 miles on it now and it's been fabulous. Not a single issue and even the factory tires (much maligned in these forums)are performing well. I drive 100 miles a day and I still wish I could stay in the car longer. My only issue at all is with the Handsfree phone. I think the voice activation is terrible and get lot's of complaints about the sound quality on the other end. But that's a very small issue in a terrific car for the $$. Good Luck.
