mdl3r1-it is very interesting right after i read you post I received an e-mail from a dealer in WA state. From what I can tell so far, they will deliver the car if things go that way. I need to talk to the GM but knowing me, I will let them know all that I have been through and it seems so far that they want customers and are willing to treat me like one and something they want.

The other 2 posts on the same page reminded me of many of the other posters I referred to in my post. One thing I have learned is to bypass those kind of posts a lot quicker.

Kooler, what's wrong with the other posts? They seem like honest posts from people trying to help you.

Are they offering any other colors or are youconsidering other colors? I would only have questions resale time. Other than that it is UNDER invoice!

Got the 09 wagon @ MSRP by mariobgoode

I ordered the wagon back in July 08, with the options I wanted: 6M TDI, extra-long moonroof, 17" wheels, laser blue metallic, nav. After 7 months, got tired because of the delay the dealer over and over said was due to the production of the nav. He said he found one with my specs except the nav, so I went along rather than wait until whenever.

Never been happier, money wise. EPA says 30 city and 40 highway. Without any adjustments to my routine driving style (10 mph max over limit), highway mostly I get about 600 per tank, and approx. 450-475 city. Obviously, it doesn't run like a gas engine, and you have to make adjustments when you drive a diesel, but overall, I'm happy as a clam. This is a keeper for me. I hope you will all find happiness with yours. It doesn't make any difference to me, but it's made in Mexico. Good luck to prospective buyers.

Without a doubt, the rudest awakening and something a turbo diesel driver should understand are the dynamics of the TDI AND the differences between normally their old gasser/s and the specific turbo diesel. (in your case the (JSW) The miles ranges you indicate (on your 14.5 gal fuel tank) demonstrate that you are starting to understand this. (city mph to 75 mph 32.75 to 42.86 mpg, etc., etc., swag on my part)

Of course the other interesting news is when you really start to understand how to get whatever mileage AT WILL (given your environments/conditions, etc.,) your engine will be really be broken in (hopefully correctly) and will start to yield is best fuel mileage, starting at 30,000 -50,000 miles (normally 1-3 mpg more). All the best.

TDI Finance by 50k

I own a 2008 Jetta gasser (8 months old) and am looking at swapping it out for a TDI.

The money I save on the back end ( tax credits and fuel ) make up some of the upside down problem, however I have 3.9 % on my gasser and notice VW is now offering the same 3.9% on the gas model only.
Anyone know what VW is financing the TDI's at ?
The Jetta is a great highway car, as I have had all positive experiences at 22k mi.
I like the interior and the ride, however i like the 600mi range and the residual on the TDI.

"I have been on foums and either the guys think I am a mess, they think I am a lier because I will not buy fom a dealer many other members had purchased from in PA, fly there and drive the car home that he sold them. All above MSRP, which is OK, but I was not well and definitely not able to fly 6 hours away and drive a new car 4000-5000 mi. back home. I am i Salt Lake City. I would do something like that but I would like to find a dealer in the West somewhere. so, I am not even sure if this will ever hapen. I do not beleive in "good" or "bad" luck. I think there might be another reason why this is all happening
but I still want a Jetta Spo
tWagon TDI with panoamic sunroof,
17" tires, any color but black and open to anything else"

One thing you must do is to learn how to post correctly to these forums!
We are not idiots here. You need to start 'proof-reading' your posts
for spelling, proper capitalization, etc. prior to sending them.

As examples:

"not able to fly 6 hours away" . . Six hours from SLC to PA?
It is not even six hours from coast to coast!

"I am i Salt Lake City." Did you read this before you posted?

"drive a new car 4000-5000 mi. back home."
Again, you do not exaggerate figures at all, do you?
PA to SLC is less than 2000 miles!

"I have been on foums and either the guys think I am a mess, they think I am a lier"
When a person such as yourself exaggerates things the way that you do,
who will or can believe anything you say?

You 'say' you want to travel in your new JSW? Why not go to PA and get a new
Jetta SPORTWAGEN and then enjoy the relatively short trip back to SLC?

"above MSRP" Have you bothered to read and compare his prices which
are clearly posted on those 'other' forums you say you have been on?
I have never seen him post prices that were even close to MSRP let alone above MSRP.

I, like many others here seriously doubt if you are really in the market for a JSW.

BTW, I do know where there is a new White JSW TDI DSG with
17 inch wheels, but it has no panoramic sun roof.

Your problem among other things is your trade-in.
