Replying to: xrae (Mar 28, 2006 12:37 pm) the ARM REST is a great option. I'd stay away from the Bazooka...it ain't that great and takes up precious room in the xA. Rear swaybar is definitely a good idea. CAI is of marginal benefit and it's my understanding you can't get it for a 2006 xA from TRD at any rate. Front strut tie bar also a good idea but it may interfere a bit with removing your air filter (makes it harder to get at).   You might also think about the lowering springs along with the sway bars.   As for performance, I think the only addition that will make any real difference is the Blitz turbo kit.

Alright.. so my engine got seized up.. water got in there.. shits done.. gonna cost like 3,225, for a used engine w/ 33k on it, 90 day warranty... stock. Is there an aftermarket engine that I can get for around that price ? What kind of engine should I look at? no clue.

hey what up?  i wanted to put in a front strut bar for my scion xa 04, but i wasnt sure what kind to put in or brand or does it really matter. ive seen some on ebay for like 34. is that a good deal? and is the xa and xb parts the same as in strut bar, are they the same size and length? Replying to: rq86 (Nov 02, 2008 3:15 pm) No don't buy that eBay junk for $34.The thing looks like a coat hanger. You need something sturdy. You don't have to buy the very lightweight deluxe type but it should be a brand-name item.   As for making a difference, a rear sway bar will do you a lot more good. With a strut brace on a car like that, unless you are charging the turns at some very high speeds, I doubt you'll notice any difference. Replying to: rq86 (Nov 02, 2008 3:15 pm) Yo !!! Buy front strut brace thru Scion/Toyota. Keep those shock towers from flexing. I suggest installing sway bar also. Big difference in cornering. Good luck. I'm agreeing with mr.shiftright. I'm using my brace and sway bar on a 2008 xb.

i have a polar white scion xa, dropped on 2 inch tanabe springs. i had black 18s on them for awhile, but didnt like the ride. i was thinking of getting new rims maybe 15 or 16 i dono. but i want the rotas gt3 either red or gold. which do you guys prefer looks cleaner?   Thanks

Replying to: rq86 (Nov 03, 2008 1:36 pm) I had a DC front strut bar on mine, and it worked well. Its not too hard to install but it's nice if you have a lift so you can gently drop the strut just a little to get it bolted to the strut tower. The DC bar is kind of big and heavy and makes changing your air filter harder.
