Replying to: suzannek (Sep 01, 2007 7:33 pm) Does it have any options (I can't recall if you can get any options on an EX). We bought a NEW 07 EX back in about April for 25.5k OTD including 5.5% tax. I'd say the deal you're looking at is very bad for a 2 year old van unless it has lots of options.

I'm taking it in for the roof rail installation and will have them look at the turning issue. I'll post back with any possible solution they offer. Did you ever get this solved? Replying to: jimbob1 (Aug 10, 2007 4:53 am) My Odyssey 05 had the same brake noise described in this Service Bulletin (06-024). I mentioned the brake noise when my car was still quite new(early 2006). The dealer inspected the brake and said it had no problem. However, they didn't write it done in my service record. (This turned out to be a big mistakes and it bit me later.)   My ody is approaching the warranty limit now (33,750 miles ) and I thought it would be good to have the dealer recheck my brake. I searched the forum and found this TSB. Today I brought my car in with the TSB in hand. To my surprise, they declined the warranty claim because its coverage is only for one year/12000 miles. The dealer contacted District Manager to see if they can extend the coverage for me and the answer is NO!   Is there anyone on the same boat? I already filed a complaint by calling Honda. Replying to: kaipingma (Sep 17, 2007 2:15 pm) I had this bulletin performed on my '05 in July at around 22k miles. I had complained at a previous dealer and they said they couldn't find anything. Of course they couldn't find anything if it bit them on the nose. But they did document this, which is probably the key here. Fast forward, I started using a different dealer and they took care of it without question. Typically, if you complain about a repair during warranty but they can't fix it, you have a pretty good case if it breaks after the warranty. However, without documenting the problem, it's not a very good case unless your dealer is willing to go to bat for you. Doesn't sound like that's the case here. Lesson learned, right? Honda called me back today and the guy said the same District Manager reviewed my case again and the decision is still a No. And he told me the right way to dispute it is to contact the Service Manager of the dealer to see when the District Manager will be on the dealer's site so I can discuss the issue with him.   I am not sure if I want to spend the time disputing this with them. Hi All,     I bought a 2005 EXL a few months back with around 31K miles. I have a bunch of issues to check. 1. noise and vibration caused by VCM (when it turns on) is very noticeable and when I see the rear view mirror, its like the rear objects seen in it are vibrating. Do we have to live with this ? 2. weird noise around steering wheel when VCM is on and at bumps seems to pull toward right and I had to hold the steering wheel very tight. 3. When I start the van and hit the gas slowly, some weird noise. 4. Is there a way to check if the recalls were done to the van . The van wasn't serviced at the dealer for a year before. The dealer who serviced my van (I did a 30K major service immediately after buying it to make sure its in good shape) told that all the recalls were done but I want to make sure. Replying to: sks3 (Sep 19, 2007 11:34 am) 2005 was the first year of that model and they did have some hiccups. Yeah there were some fixes that Honda covered. I'd check with Honda.
