Instead I bought a moonlight white with black interior for '08 M35x with tech package, 15K miles and in mint condition for $31K. If you do not need AWD I have seen used 35X for $26-$28K. Good luck. I am getting a "pre owned" M35X to replace my totaled I35. It is a 2006 with about 33000 miles. I could find some a priced a little lower, but this one is in showroom condition (the dealership was showing it on the showroom). I am very excited to step up to the M. I wish I could afford a new M, but cannot, so I am going the pre-owned route. I am paying $25,500 for this "new" "pre-owned" M35X. The car is loaded with the tech package and the voyager package. I am really looking forward to my toys. I am only concerned about the "jumping" on uneven roads which I have read about. I hope the car does not do this! Thanks for the feedback everyone! This is my second M both new body style and you will love it. My only complaint is that it is horrible in the snow however I don't have AWD but love the way it drives. The reviews are that good for a reason enjoy your M!

The X worth nothing in Dallas - I am not even sure why anyone need AWD on a near luxury car in Texas, you are not going off road and it might snow for a day each year - not worth it IMO. But, it is your money and your choice.   I am pretty sure I can get M35X for the same price of the regular M35 in Texas, so I still believe both deal are very close.

I would jump on it before it is gone - since now is well into 2009 and Infiniti is pushing hard to sell the 08 left overs.   The $14500 discount will get you over 72K miles even if the gas price is $3/gal. and you only get 15 MPG all the time. The gas mileage is bad, but it will be over 15 on average, unless you do city drive strictly.   Good luck and let us know how it goes.
