My dealer that leased my last M35x has offered me 12,000 off an 08 that lists for 50,034.00 I have to think that with 4000 for loyalty and 6000 for last years model, this is still a good deal? OK, now the catch...it's his manager's car with 6000 mile on it. Desert Shadow / Graphite...Technology pkg. Splash guards Trunk mat $41,155 out the door. Now is it a good deal? Probably something like $500 a month or something. I think you are paying too much. I got a car m35 (msrp of $50180) with only 35 miles for $41250 OTD. Go to a blue book website, and run the retail/wholesale/private party value calculators with the stats of the vehicle in question. I would rub it in the dealer's face that the manager probably can't afford the gas in this vehicle as it drinks gas like it's going out of fashion and the dealerships can't afford to run these vehicles! LOL. I would go so far as to ask what the manager is driving RIGHT NOW. If it's a smaller, more economical car, then you know times are getting tougher for the dealer. I know, I know...it sounds arrogant, but sometimes you just have to be - especially when you are holding the money and they are holding the "rapidly-depreciating asset".

Replying to: alvinmathew88 (Dec 22, 2008 6:21 pm) I took the liberty of running the numbers for you on KBB website and even with Tech Package and some verbatim items (Nav, single disc mp3, climate control seats, etc) at suggest retail value is $32225 excellent condition. It might vary due to location, but not by much. You should try and work it around number or be close to it. I just saved you 8k.. The dealer would just make pure profit off you with 40k driveout price, and they know the car is depreciating in value for every mile on that car, but why should you have to pay for their depreciation. I say stick it to them!

I recently purchased that same color vehicle with the same options, brand new with 21 miles on it, and tinted windows for $39,700 drive-out. I'd stick with the advice from alvin and redline. The dealer here is Pittsburgh just does not seem to be offering these kind of deals. Replying to: ocim (Dec 23, 2008 7:01 pm) Just fyi, driveout generally reference all in price, which includes TTL. I got mine from Sewell, they still have a bunch of m35s in stock, i went to their storage garage and they have about 17 or 18 of them with good options and decent color schemes.
