M45 Premium Package by sambar6

Yesterday, I purchased the M45 with the Premium package, trunk mat. Got the Liquid Platinum with the Burgundy interior. I am very pleased with the purchase. Reserached sedans in this segment for several months before deciding on the M.

Paid $1,000 over invoice at Riverside Infiniti in Riverside, CA. Purchase process was pleasant but a little slow. By passed local Palm Springs Infiniti as they had little selection on hand. Hope this is helpful and now back to some spirited driving.

if you got a burgundy interior, you got a really incredibly good deal because it would be custom dyed leather I suspect you got the bourbon which is a wonderful combination with Silver.....

Well.. after much thought I went to the dealership today to look at a new M45. I came in with the intention of just looking at the black exterier / burbon interior color combo.. i wanted to see how it would look and if i'd like it. I didn't. However.. they sold me on a fully loaded M45 Sport (tech, journey, spoiler, tints) Silver with black interior with wooden paneling. It was the car driven by the the owner of the dealership( as per them...) 2k dealer miles, they gave it to me for the same price they were pushing the base m45 sport with just the journey package : $625 per month with 2800 total due at signing (taxes, fees and everything included) on a 24 month 12k miles lease. I'm picking it up on Thursday

I am thinking of purchasing an M35 from Infiniti of Charlotte. The knowledge of the salesperson and the quality of the dealership's printed material is not the best. If they are not that impressive when trying to get me to buy the car, how impressive will they be when I need service? I would appreciate any info. from anyone who has purchased a vehicle from this dealership concerning after the sale service.

Picked up my 2006 Black/graphite M45 Sport w/ technology, aerodynamic, rear mobile ent.sys, journey and trunk mat options. Brand new (not demo) only 15 miles on the car (5 of which were mine test driving).

MSRP $59270
Invoice $53899
Sale price: $55099 ($1,200 above invoice)
$0 drive off
$732+tax.
15,000 miles/year
24 Month lease.

I had the option to lease for 36 months $705+ tax but I passed since I would probably get a new car at lease end.

This forum is a great tool if you spend the time to review the data placed within it. I have lamented over the buying experience since there is only 1 local dealer and they think they control the market. I found the M45 sport I wanted as it was delivered Fri. night and visited the dealer on saturday morning. I offered invoice + 1K and was laughed at, got the supply and demand lecture.

Based on the data I've seen on this post I went to the web and made inquiries with 4 other dealers within a 3 hour drive and immediately got an acceptance of 1k over inv. The local saleman has kept pushing on the deal and when I told him what I had in writting from an Atlanta dealer they changed their tune. I ended up signing doc's today for M45 sport, tech(xm)/Journey, painted splash guards, stone/aluminum interior for 500 over invoice. The dealer wanted the business and I made them "earn it" by beating the offer in Atlanta.

Use the data on this forum and go into the dealership well armed and prepared!!!

Good for you! I'm having a similar experience in Houston - I'm looking for an M35 non-sport and between the dealers not having the color choices I prefer and the haggling, I'm getting turned off on the car.

The best local deal (at West Houston Infiniti) I can get is 5% above invoice. In Dallas, I can get 2.5% (Sewell). The local dealer is giving me some BS about valuing 2 years of routine maintenance (oil changes) at $750 and arguing that the out of town dealers know they won't have to deliver that service on my sale.

Has anyone had a similar experience? I can't imagine buying a $50,000 car and having to pay for oil changes. I've owned a Honda, Lexus, BMW, and currently a Benz. Even the Honda had a better service package than this (free maintenance and loaner). I've heard Benz has dropped their service as well. I'd go back to Lexus if the drive was more energetic...

Any advice aside from being hard-nosed with the dealer? I hate the way these guys ruin the buying experience.

Head on up to Lake Norman Infiniti. The staff there seems to be a bit more knowledgeable and you don't feel so much like you need a shower after dealing with the sales staff. At least, that was my experience. I haven't visited them in almost a year.

Go north on I-77 to exit 25 or 28 (one of those two). Just look to your left as you're approaching the exit. You can see them from the freeway. Their M inventory tends to be low, though.
