Going back to the shop Monday for the second stereo replacement since I got the car in July 2004. CD player will not eject CD and makes a loud noise. Dealership said it was a bad unit. Replies to this message: mark19 (Feb 18, 2006 2:31 am)

Replying to: gtw (Feb 16, 2006 4:16 pm) Not surprised, I had to have a couple replaced as well, same exact problem. Pioneer isn't that great of quality when it comes to CD mechanisms. Hope you get a good one now!

Hi all,   I just recently bought a 2006 Scion tC. The car has been driven for about a month and it has been making clunking noise. I brought the car in. I test drove it with them and they concluded that the noise was made by the defective steering shaft. They ordered the part and will be in by next week.   So my concern is that if anyone has experienced this before?? It's a brand new car and only has 1k miles on it. Any other noise should I be aware of??? It also makes some noise that the dealer said is from the brakes and they said is normal. Am I crazy or am I missing how to turn off that light that's in the center console. You know, the one in that little center compartment. It's always on and it drives me nuts! Any help?
