HI...the car is back at the dealership yet again as we speak. They have engineers down from Ontario,,,, presume not just for my car. They have seen my car when it is malfunctioning but still problem persists. I get car back after a couple more days there and a week later issue happens. Last time I had someone call me on my onstar phone....they can hear me...but I can only make out muffled sounds from the drivers door speaker. The only way I knew the phone rang was from radio display...couldn't hear the ring. I will post here when and if the issue gets resolved...

I'm having the exact same issue and haven't been able to figure it out. Did the dealership ever figure it out? My warranty is about to expire soon.

I just returned my Impala after 3 year lease expired.....the dealer tried lots of options...the last thing he did was change my ignition.....all I can say is it happened a lot less often after that...maybe once a month or so....but if it was ocurring and I was on a long drive then I would pull over and turn the car off and on til it corrected itself....sometimes it would correct to no blinker noises but also no radio so would have to keep turning it off and on..... the dealership gave up trying.... told me I had a lease and it was running out....guess they figured it's the next owners problem. They also said they had checked with GM and I was the only one with the problem....Needless to say as much as I loved my Impala when it was working I had to chnage to a different make

No fix at this time, I have however not had the issue more that twice in the past 4 months. Still worth the price of admission.

I have a 2007 with the identical complaint. Sometimes if you shut the vehicle off in a specific order, it will work. Put it in park, shut the a/c off, shut the radio off, shut the car off. Then undo your seatbelt and open the door.
If any of this is done out of order then you never know if the radio will come on the next time or not. Definitley frustrating.

We're glad that you've found a way to make the radio work, beckij, although understand that you're still frustrated. Are you planning on getting this looked into at all?

#3631 of 3634 2007 Impala audio issues by yewlsee

I have experienced the loud blinker noises with no radio. I've had no blinker noise and no radio. I've had radio that could barely be heard after the ignition was shut off but before I opened the door and no door chimes with all of the above. The mechanic said to bring it in when it happens; however, when it happens, the shop is closed. It's indeed frustrating to have no solution available for a frequently recurring problem.

Started clunking bad when hitting bumps and turning sharp. Noticed

the rim has damage. Just had hubs breaks and tie rods done. Possibly a

ball joint?
