Hey Guys and Akangl, The new Bentley is awesome! The power is amazing and with AWD, you don't miss a beat! I haven't floored it yet as it only has 300 miles on it, but it will scoot along right quick! Even though I drive fairly conservatively, I can see the gas gauge move! LOL! I just put in the first tank of fuel, glad to see the prices become normal! I didn't realize how big 20 inch wheels are until it's time to clean them. At the end of each day, I wipe down the whole car and clean the wheels. It's amazing how much brake dust gets on the wheels but that happens with all the cars. If you see a white Bentley convertible driving in the desert with the driver with a big smile on his face, it's me! M156

In my 20 home gated enclave, my next door neighbor has a Bentley Continental Flying Spur (Sapphire blue) and the neighbor down the street has a Continental GT hard top (electric blue).... so, I'm not the only one. When I'm driving the Honda CR-V, I'm totally invisible When I drive the '64 Rolls, I get a lot of thumbs up and waves I was driving the Bentley the other day and went into a shopping center and a homeless guy stopped me and said that I looked like a movie star and he needed some gas money to get to a location. I don't like to give money to pan-handlers as I feel it feeds a drug habit, etc. I donate to organizations. Anyway, I told him that I don't carry cash. I was driving with the top down and a two early-30-year-olds joggers waved at me driving by M156

At the hotel (Beverly Hilton) where we stayed I checked car rental prices and overheard an agent talking on the phone to a customer. The conversation went something like this... "I can get you the Bentley for your arrival. If you rent it daily it's $2k/day, but if you take it for a month, I can do it for $1500/day" I was almost embarassed asking for the prices on renting a mid size after I heard that

Also, I don't snub people, I'll smile at them or wave if they are staring. I think that makes a difference. I'm a car nut, anytime somebody wants to ask me about my cars I'll sure do a lot of chatting, you might want to sit for a while! LOL! Mark
