Zoose,

The Dakota includes as standard equipment on all trim lines and cab versions rear-wheel anti-lock brakes. On the base and SXT models that would be with rear disc brakes, on Sport, Sport Plus, and SLT that would be with rear drum brakes.

Four-wheel anti-lock brakes are an option across all trim lines.

I have driven both with and without four-wheel anti-lock. I much prefer the rear anti-lock version. In general I dislike anti-lock brakes, but on the Dakota the rear only version is acceptable.

Best regards,
Dusty

have an o4 Dodge Dakota qc. When backing it howls or groans. When lightly applying brakes, noise gets louder. Dealer put new pads on-no help. Need an answer if anyone knows
