I will call the dealer for another drive and, yes, it is the one with 210 HP that we test drove. Just for the record, I am not a gear head, I don't drive at high speeds or otherwise dangerously but I do like some "umph" off the line. Back to the SAAB dealership it is then! So, how much are others getting off the 9-3 Arc convertible other than the standard GM employee discount? Thanks, Jon. |

Seems like an awful lot of people have leased these this month, but I can't put my finger on the actual numbers. I've dug throught the posts here, but maybe I missed something. Can someone who has leased a 9-3 this month chime in? I'm looking for Residual for 36 mo./10K or 12K and I'd like to know what kind of Money Factor Saab is offering. Thanks |

Replying to: ckingtw (Jun 18, 2005 10:33 pm) I've been quoted by 2 different dealers, one in MA, and other in FL for 93 Linear: Sale price $24,416 w/auto trans and the metallic paint which is supposed to include the (1) Employee discount which I was quoted to be $26,894 (MSRP $28,920), and less (2) $2500 incentive (purchase). Your price of $23,900 seems to be in line with the quotes I received for auto trans only. Questions: (1) Has anyone been able to negotiate out of the $500 extra for the metallic paint? (2) One of the dealers in FL also is trying to charge $550 for a "Dealer Service Fee", which is highly inflated. How far down have people been able to negotiate to a "fair" price? (3) Any more insights into the greater incentives GM will have for Saab? These 2 dealers are saying they are running low on inventory for 2005 already.

Replying to: buy_low (May 16, 2005 4:58 am) it seems like the dealer that you worked with was willing to negotiate on pricing and such. It seems like you got a very nice price. Would you mind sharing the name of your dealer? Thank you |
