I believe Saab still quotes their leases with money factors, not interest rates.. Ask them for the money factor, then check it with Car_man on the Lease Questions board. regards, kyfdx |

I just bought a new 9-3 linear at Continental Motors in Oceanside, CA. Very good buying experience. Total transaction took about 20 minutes. I paid the price you get at the GM site under the new employee discount, plus add ons for an auto trans, and heated seats, dollar for dollar. Totalled about $24,500 before ttl. Good deal on my trade too. No games at all. Maybe I could have knocked a couple of hundred off if I played all the local dealers against each other, but frankly doing that is just not worth a couple of hundred $ to me anymore. This dealership is closest to me, so I wanted to go with them if the deal was fair and professional, which it was. Anyway, I love the car (except for the stereo, its weak). There are a few quirky things about Saabs, but after 3 days I am already used to them. Engine is strong, especially considering this is the lowest powered model. I'd take this car any day over what else is out there (mainly non premium Japanese cars) in sedans at that price with a leather interior. |

With the automatic, the car was very sluggish off the line and the engine/exhaust sound was very unimpressive, a wheeze rather than a growl. We own an Infiniti FX which maybe has spoiled us, but this car was a total disappointment. GM will be dropping a new V6 in the 9-3 in a few months, but by then the GM discount will be long gone. Don't know what to do, great looking car, great ride, lousy power... Maybe it is just us. Jon. |

My dealer has an ARC on the lot with auto trans, metalic paint and power moonroof. for $26545 with all incentives and discounts. I don't want the moonroof so I'm going to try and negotiate the price down further. For those of you who have already purchased during this promotion, any luck negotiating price down beyond advertised emp discounts and incentives? How about the lease options. Did anyone feel the lease fees were fair or do you get hosed? |

Replying to: madmax252 (Jun 19, 2005 10:11 pm) As I said, we LOVED the SAAB but for what we perceived as uninspired acceleration. I will call the dealer for another drive and, yes, it is the one with 210 HP that we test drove. Just for the record, I am not a gear head, I don't drive at high speeds or otherwise dangerously but I do like some "umph" off the line. Back to the SAAB dealership it is then! So, how much are others getting off the 9-3 Arc convertible other than the standard GM employee discount? Thanks, Jon. |

Seems like an awful lot of people have leased these this month, but I can't put my finger on the actual numbers. I've dug throught the posts here, but maybe I missed something. Can someone who has leased a 9-3 this month chime in? I'm looking for Residual for 36 mo./10K or 12K and I'd like to know what kind of Money Factor Saab is offering. Thanks |
