I am an Inferno Red H.E. owner... and a two 300C owner (our first was/is an Certified Pre-owned Midnight Blue '05 model - build date 6/14/04).    I don't know how many IR H.E.'s were produced (I thought someone had given an estimate in one of the forums I frequent, but I can't find it). Anyway, AFAIK, IR was the predominant color, i.e., many more than 200, probably more than 2000. I would love to have you post up the info on your H.E.'s to see where they "fit" in the growing list of recognized owners!   Now that IR is an SRT color, and one for the 2007 300 models, it will become even more noticeably out there, but less distinct from the "original" IR H.E.s.

This was about 2000 for the 1957 Sedan and 400 or so for the convertible. If we can accept this, then production should be held to that range.   I wish that that the cars were numbered. Congratulations!   Personally, I don't believe production of H.E.s was limited to 2400 vehicles. My understanding there were 400 or more slated for Canada alone, but the vast majority are in the U.S. I just don't know anyone who knows the actual number. The one who would be most likely to get or provide such a number is called ResumeSpeed on 300Cforums, but as yet even he has been unable to determine the final count.   I, too, which they were numbered... although we now know that a plaque number, ala SuperBees and Daytonas, is just a plaque number that has no relationship to the order in which the cars came off the production line. That, too, is unfortnate IMO.   So to see where you fit on the list... just refer to, and bookmark, [url=http://www.300cforums.com/forums/general-discussion/18001-make-our-own-buil- d-sequence-heritage-editions.html]this thread[/url] over at 3CF. I'll update it in the next few minutes.

There was an ad for $19995 and we called them and they said they have 2 available. When we went there it was sold..hahaha...as usual. We said we just called 30 minutes ago. Anyways, the bottom line is the ad was saying $19995 for 2007 and we got it for that price....Nice car

They built the best and most loaded version of one of the most popular cars they ever sold, did not list it in the sales brochures, gave glimpses of it in photo ads, and never made any official announcements about this special edition car. They didn't even mount a "Heritage Edition" badge on the tail to separate it from all other 300C's. The majority of dealers contacted weren't able to answer any questions about the car, even if they had one in stock. The Inferno Red Pearl Coat paint was not listed as an option in the 2006 300C option brochure, but was only available as a checked box for the Heritage Edition on the Chrysler website! I love the car, and plan to keep it forever. In fact, I bought a second one identical to my first. The car is so nice, I bought it twice... My wife and I refer to them as "our twins". You may see a number of 300C's in your daily travels, but you are not going to see many red Heritage Editions. I have only encountered one when I was vacationing in Florida, and it was a beauty. This car is a keeper. I could not find one in El Paso, Texas where I live, so I had to go to Tucson, Arizona and Dallas, Texas to buy my two.
