Replying to: neene (Aug 03, 2006 9:23 am) forum had alot of problems with his car and asked for a buy back and got it.I did it in 2001 on a Chrysler Sebring. With a buy back you don't lose money like you would with the lemon law.I would go to your service manager and explain the problems you have had and see what he can do to start the process.Good Luck. |

I have an 05 Touring and I experienced this issue both at idle and every morning upon starting the car. The problem was a buildup of carbon on top of the piston heads. This resulted in a lack of compression in the combustion chamber resulting in, of coarse, rough idle when at a stop. The dealership decided to do a combustion chamber cleaning, fuel injection cleaning and rotated my valve springs. Now the car is very smooth again- no rough idle even with the A/C on. Sometimes I feel a very slight engagment of the air conditioner turning on but not an more then any other car i've driven. I'm wondering if anyone else has sort of a rough shift out of park, especially in cold weather- sometimes it jerks forward, any advice would be appreciated. Even with the few problems I've had i like the car. "Anyone that builds good cars, Can build bad!"
