8 times in shop give me a break ! by angel008a
Jul 24, 2006 (4:23 pm)
Ok got my car back they told me it was unsafe to drive kept stalling out like the gas line was pulled and kept lunging foward on me , and delayed starting , oh brother this is no picnic .
Well still in the 10 week process of the Magnuss and Moss law........got like 3-4 more weeks to go to find out if chrysler is gona buy it back or if I can get the pleasure of sticking a piece of dyniamite up the tail pipe !
I see people on the road at a stop lite ahead of me with the same car and hey their shaking , I can see it ! I stop to talk to everyone that I see that ownes one of these lemons they all are not happy at all , it is really something that they haven't recalled this car after all the problems that this is causing.
They changed my maping sensor said it was reading like it was in the mountians and it didn't need as much rich gas mixture in thiner air so causing it to stall , ha ha ha thier was a oil build up on the sensor um hello? any one in thier? dosen't this mean a possiable oil leak somewhere? this is the 2nd time they changed it within 2 months for same problem , car still is shaking at stops and seems like it wants to stall out , they fixed the problem for mabye 2 hours ? anyway really sucks totaly disiapointed , such a nice car , with so many stupid problems. I know before I do any car shopping again i'm gona check this site for any gripes about a car or truck before I'm stuck in an agreement. ........ha ha hey did ya'll see on tv that add that chrysler has out now ???? try it for 30 days and if you don't like it return it? i'm really thinking on bring back my car and telling them hey i've complained about this before 30 days after having this lemon , it should still apply? i'm gona try anyway .........wish me luck , they probley wont honer it like every thing else.
I will not recomend or buy again from Winter Haven Dodge of Florida in polk county !!!
   I'm going toyota next.
to everyone out thier that has problems with thier lemon the best of luck to ya ! and ask about the Magnoss and Moss ! from your lawyer ! it's quicker then the lemon law. and less hastle.

Sorry about your problems, but you had better check out the Toyota forums--Camry,Avalon etc. before you buy a Toyota. Lots of problems with transmission hesitation. Some owners have had the tranny replaced and the replacement is no better than the original. Toyota quality has gone down hill lately.

Do any of you recommend the 300C given complaints about it by dingchavez

I realize that every car can have problems, but I have a family member who is in love with the 300C. Do any of you regret buying yours. She is about to buy hers by the end of this year. I would hate for her to have to put down her hard earned money on what some people here have been stuck with. Honest oppinions here please. thanks in advance.

I am going to give you my honest opinion here, we bought an 2006 300 Touring.. it started having problems 4 days after we drove it off the lot.. it has been in for service many many times for the same shaking problems.., we had meetings with the dealership, service manager and Chrysler Corp. rep... the problem was somewhat resolved or should i say temperaly... but the problems still exist...
I am sadly disappointed in the car... even thought the car looks great, and has many luxury features, the issues i have are not acceptable in a new car..
Honestly, I will not buy another Mopar product... hope this helps in your decision process..

Dear Dingchavez

I own a 300 Limited. I have never had any problems with the car except for discolored chrome rims which Chrysler took care of. The car drives excellent and for the size the fuel consumption is great. This is also my 3rd Chrysler product. I have owned 7 General Motors products and have too many problems to mention with all of them.

I bought a 06 300C AWD in March and after 8000 miles no problems or regrets. Traded in a 05 Ford Five Hundred LTD AWD that I was disappointed in for several reasons. For me the Chrysler has been a much better car.

My husband boutght me my 300 for our 1st anniversary I loved the car and was totaly thrilled , but then the problems began within the first few days.
My family elders laughed at me for having a chrysler product now I see why....
Mabye Chrysler screwed up and actually made a few good ones for thoses ppl that haven't had problems yet ? but for a lot of us the problems are very real.

I purchased a 2006 300C on July 11th. It currently has 250 miles on it and the EVIC display has gone totally dark 2 or 3 times for periods up to 2 minutes. The dealer's service writer says they can do nothing unless they see the problem. Has anyone else had this problem?

Do I recommend the 300? by angel008a

It is a beautiful car yes , it is a comfterable yes , but NO on the car because what good is beauty and comfort when you can't feel coffident in going somewhere without worring about the car not starting or stalling out.
Family saftey is important to me and I have totaly lost faith in this car .
