Has anyone had the problem of a flooded Trunk with the Chrysler 300? I was on my way to the Yankees game yesterday, and my electrical system was going haywire. I checked the Battery in the trunk, and there was 3 inches of water in there. I have no clue how this happened, but my spare and Jack were both rusted, so this must have been happening for a while. Thanks!

I purchased a 2006 awd 300c, which I had to wait nine months for delivery. I have already experienced two throttle position sensor failures while on the road. The car just dies. It is presently in the shop for the second failure. Has anyone else experienced this problem? All the service dept. tells me, is all they can do is replace the defective sensor. But this will be the third sensor, including the original one. Any suggestions?? |

I have my second 300 since November 05 and this one is a LEMON too! My first 300 broke three times by January 06 with a "faulty computer program for the transmission"in their words. The first time I took it in they "adjusted" it, two hours later it was broke again, the second time, the same day, they said there was a new program coming out in two weeks, "a manufactures recall", 10 weeks later we were still waiting for our car to be fixed. I had finally had enough and demanded a replacement car. I was denied one until after 11 weeks of them having my car sit there "waiting for government approval" was their latest excuse. I threw a fit and threatened to go to the news stations about this recall that they are hiding from the public and the next day got a brand new 300, paying the extras for a few upgrades and being guaranteed that this car would be fine, the other car was just a fluke. I now have 1400 miles on this new 300 and I have exactly the same problem with this one as I did with my first. The computer program for the transmission clunks and shifts very hard. I am now battling with the manufacturer again...as this time I want my money back not a new 300!!!! The program is still not available |

Replying to: yatman (May 22, 2006 11:34 am) Ps: when we started talking lemon with the service manager, he told me that we HAVE to give them an opportunity to fix the problem since the car has a warranty... I asked him , okay, what are you going to do different that the last 5 visits weren't able to resolve? he knew then I had HIM in the corner and I wasn't going round 6 with them or the car... the Chrysler rep finally came to meet with us, he offered us a new car as well, however, since we had miles on the car, they take a depreciation for every thousand miles and only give you piddleys for the car you payed top dollar for.. I find when you sqwack the loudest, they either want to get rid of you, or try and resolve your issues.. GOOD LUCK
