| Being retired from DC and getting employee discount on my new "C" I was in no hurry to get it after ordering it on Feb.15,2005. The dealer said the 2005 model year was sold out so I would end up with an 06. I said that was great, but it really didn't matter because it is my last new car and will have to last me 20 yrs. I just sold my 1984 Daytona Turbo Z (never driven in the winter)It still ran great and looked great. My new 300C is by far the nicest Chrysler product I ever owned. It was delivered June 28th,05. I've owned a lot of them, some better than others, but no lemons. After reading some of the forums on this site and other 300 sites, I'm glad I ended up with a 2006 model, since there were a few problems with the first model year. It is cool vanilla with everything but sunroof and siruis radio. It is a lot of car for the money and with over 7,000 trouble free miles it is now tucked away for the long NY. winter. I did add one accessory to the vehicle and that was custom splash guards. I bought universal medium size splash guards from Huskyliner and four hemi emblems for the new charger from my local dodge dealer, then had the flaps painted cool vanilla. After the paint cured I applied the Hemi emblem to the splash guards and installed. 4 flaps $60.00 (4)emblems $60.00 Painting $60.00 Total $180.00 Expensive flaps, but they are awesome. | |

I have a Chrysler 300 Touring. Love the car except the very uncomfortable driver's seat. I drive approx. 1000 miles/week and end each day with a sore butt. Any recommendations?? Sam |

Took delivery of our new 300C (nicknamed "THE MISSILE")on Feb.2. It had 7 miles (WOW). Gotta just love this car, painted Magnesium Pearl. Gets oh so many looks, it makes you feel so good. Practicaly get overtaken at the gas station with questions. Just turned over 500 miles. What a dream to Drive. The wife didn't like it at first...said it looked gangsta...starting to grow on her quick though. What can you say about the HEMI other than I think they built this CAR/MOTOR combo especially for me Ha Ha . AWESOME. I'm 62 yrs old....never lost the need for speed. |

Hi, everyone. I just took possession of a spankin' brand new (10 miles) 06 300 Limited Signature Series. I've only had it a week and I've already put 700 miles on it. I simply love the styling of the car. To me it looks like it has a factory chopped top. Anyway, mine is the Black Pearl one, not sure of the correct name. Some of the extras on the car are sun roof, 6 Boston Acoutic speakers, the GPS 6 CD/MP3 radio. 2 tone leather interior, 8-way heated seats, the adjustable pedals..the list goes on. The engine in it is the 3.5L which is a giant step up from the PT. I really wasn't expecting to buy so soon. I had stopped by the dealership to make an appointment for oil change on my 01 PT Cruiser. On my way out, I drove through the new car lot. Needless to say, I now have the 300 and the PT is gone. I must say, the dealership where I bought the car, have treated me like royalty. I thank them for that. |

Only after I bought my second 2006 300C and got a DC confirmation envelope with an ID card for my extended warranty from Daimler Chrysler did I realize I HAD NOT received anything like that after my first purchase last summer from a different dealer 300 miles distant. Careful examination of my paperwork package back at my office revealed the first dealer had used an obscure looking form that apparently put my big bucks for an extended warranty to some firm I never heard of and not one word was told me during the purchase I would NOT get a Chrysler extended warranty that I paid big buck for. The third party warranty was from some part of a firm called Olympicare Automotive services, which is p/o "Ethos Group." Does Anyone have any idea who or what this Ethos Group is -- before I go out and take into that dealer for a Chrysler extended warranty. I consider I was scammed for not being advised about this and given an option of whether or not I wanted a third party source for that policy. Never heard a single word about such a firm. w7bs

| Just bought my 2006 Black 300 Limited in February. It made all my neighbors green with envy. The heated seats are great in the cool late winter mornings of central Florida. The black pearlcoat just glistens in the Florida sun, and it goes great beside my white Sebring Convertible. | |

Replying to: hasan1 (Mar 04, 2006 9:38 am) The examples - My 2000 Audi A4 timing belt idler failed. No coverage. If ther belt breaks they cover it, but only if the belt breaks. Timing belts do not break, they wear, they even stretch a little, but they just do not break of their own accord. By the way that warranty cost $1750. We bought a 2000 Ford Escort for my girlfriends mother. Exactly one week from the day she drove it off the lot the drivers side ball joint came apart going through a mall parking lot. Again zero coverage. The experience - Every single time I have called these people the first step, even before asking for a contract number, is to begin explaining why they are not liable for the part in question. They are rude and quite arrogant. Save your money this is a big loser. |
