Replying to: jr1828 (Nov 01, 2005 4:16 pm) The only sizes i can recommend for this vehicle would be the stock 235/65/17 or a 255/55/18 according to the manufacturer specifications. Once you start modifying the vehicle you change the fitment aspects and i cannot make any recommendations because i do not have the vehicle here for measurements. The manufacturers that i deal with in the size 265/65/7 require this tire to be mounted on a 17X7.5. If you try and mount a tire on a wheel that is to narrow you could end up blowing out the tire bead while driving. Replying to: huskers (Nov 03, 2005 6:42 pm) The recommended sizes for your truck in 16" are: 245/75-16 - 30.5" tall - OE stock size 265/75-16 - 31.7" tall 275/70-16 - 31.2" tall The hardest part about making recommendations for this type of truck is the fact that you have to use a minimum of an E load range which limits your choices. Most people put directional tires on their cars and never perform standard rotation because of the extra cost of dismounting and remounting all four tires. Honda only requires this car to have any H speed rating and in my opinion the V speed rating is overkill for this car. For the needs you stated you were looking for i would actually recommend the Bridgestone Turanza LS-H. The will offer very good dry and wet traction and very nice ride quality. However they do tend to get noisier as they wear which can be a problem for a convertible. If you would like to use an all season tire then i would recommend using the 195/60/14 Bridgestone G009 (61.00 each). A narrower tire will offer less resistance in snow which equates into better control. The tire i would recommend for the best ice and snow traction would be the 245/75/16 Bridgestone Blizzak DMZ3 (108.00 each). Hi,Conner. I am trying to find out which tires I should get for my Cayenne 17"wheel. I originally wanted "studded" tires. But,as I searched your website, I could not find any studded tires whithin your recoommended tires for this car. My local Porche dealer only have Pirelli Scorpion " Studless"(exactly which "scorpion" is unknown to me at this point...).I can get some studded tires from my local rather known to this area(Oregon)tire place which sell mainly their own brand(I don't want to advatise anything for them ,so I'll withhold the name of place here)but I'm worried to get something your website doesn't recommend , yet I feel the need of studded tires.... What should I do, please help me. I'm totally lost.
