Dogboys, did you have problem with David Maund? I called Champion, they don't have the leftover 2007's in stock and couldn't deal as hard, Maund gave me good pricing, I am from out of town so the oil change wouldn't help me. thanks skip

I didn't have a hard time with Maund, but Champion was willing to work with me more on the truck and the trade more important. I got the tundra the first week of Feb. so there wasn't much dealing with that price, but they did give me $2000.00 more for my trade than anyone else would. Good luck...

Expected low price? by greyman

I'm looking to buy an SR5 Crew Max, 5.7. I'm aiming at a very plain truck and anticipate that the "window sticker" price will be around $34,000. Setting the rebate aside because I expext to take the zero percent financing option, how much discount should I hold out for? I've been thinking 11%, but I hear/read posts that indicate some folks are getting as much as 15% or more off when buying the Limiteds. Should I expect that to hold true in the lower priced trucks.

If it matters, I live in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Thoughts?

Is it an 07 or 08 ? I would want at least 8000-10000 off an 07. Exclusive of financing. If the zero is for 60 months then 15 percent or so is in the ballpark. Don't expect that that is possible yet on an 08 but turkey time can be a shooting gallery so you don't know.

Good luck

Planning on buying Tundra in Columbus, OH - Any good dealers? by raerae123

I am planning to purchase a 2007 Tundra Limited. I live in Columbus, OH but I would travel for a good price. I have already emailed about 50 or so deals through the Toyota website asking for their best price. But what price have any of you paid recently in this area - Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Dayton, Toledo, WV, etc? Help me get the best price.

I just bought an SR5 Crew Max (5.7). I probably shopped a dozen dealerships within one hundred miles of DFW . . . on the net, by phone, and some visits. I didn't have room to be as flexible as I would have liked . . . there was only one 2007 left in Texas configured the way I wanted.

The MSRP on the truck I bought was around $33.5 . . . I took the lowest bid at $31.3. Zero percent financing. Under the circumstances, I'd do the same deal again.

Incidentally, I was offered ten percent off from one dealer, but when it came down to the wire, I was told I had misunderstood the offer. Maybe I did.

In Austin, TX, Charles Maund has been advertising 9000 off the MSRP for Dbl cabs with 5.7 L and Classic in Round Rock has offered to sell 2007 Crew max 5.7 at invoice before the 4000 toyota cash back offer.

I have done business with Classic in the past and I would recommend them.

X-SP availability by jofazone

While recently visiting South Florida I saw a 08' Tundra model (X-SP) that I have not seen where I live in the North East. Is this a regional model that is only available in the South East ??. All of the X-SP models I saw were 2X4, not 4X4's. I would appreciate any insight into the X-SP model availability, I. E., are they available everywhere? Is there a 4X4 version.

Thanks,
