I would like to see teo metrics added to the reviews:
 
Initial Quality
Long-Term Reliability
 
While sometimes these factors are mentioned, I don't thing they are always specifically mentioned, nor are they formal evaluation categories.
 
While your long term reports are good, they don't always capture the problems tha end comsumer's face 2-3 years down the road when reliability issues really begin to crop up.
 
Thanks for listening and I please repost if this is not the appropraite palce to mention.

MidCow - we don't have control over the editorials, BUT, I can tell you how to get your helpful suggestions to the editorial staff. Just use the "help" link at the top of this page, just under the blue tabs.
 
If you hit the "contact us" tab on the help page and select a category for your suggestions, your message will be routed to the staff who write the reviews.
 
The True Cost to Own tool can give one an idea about the reliability/cost associated with a vehicle, but I see you're interested in a more direct version.

First - turn off ALL CAPS. It is difficult to read and people think you are yelling at them.
 
In San Francisco, the taxis were not being converted, but Ford Escape Hybrids were being purchased for the taxi fleets.

The Biodiesel Vehicles is probably the only discussion we have where people have talked about a conversion process.

yes i realise that they were already complete vehicles that were used, but that would be expensive for operators of the vehicles as they would have to purchase new vehicles.i thought that maybe some manufacterer out there might of developed some sort of conversion system that could replace current fuel systems on existing cars to enhance performance and provide less emissions.

I'd like to get the Clean Air Vechile Stickers to drive in carpool lane but I heard DMV is only issuing 75,000. Does anyone know how many has been issued thus far? I don't know whether to wait til Jan '06 to purchase (for tax credit) or to purchase now and still try to get the sticker. Thanks.
