Magnums are not considered "cars" per se. It's a UTV or SUV or "truck" for that matter. That's why the MSRT8 is exempt from the ridiculous "gas guzzle" tax that unnecessarily drag on the 300 SRT8 and Charger SRT8 sales.

Yet, I just got repetitive 22 mpg on the highway over a 2800 mile vacation in our MSRT8 carrying 4 adults, a baby, and all the baby's parents "stuff" (stroller, nursing donut, pillows, car seat, etc! That's real-life mileage 1 mpg better thant the EPA rated estimate. I AIN'T complaining one bit!

I don't mind at all having two fairly unique vehicles!

I just bought the 2007 Chrysler 300C SRT Design. It has the 5.7L in it. I have read about half the owners manual and according to it, it says to use 89 Octane for the 5.7 liter engine. The smaller 2.7 & 3.5 it says to use the regular 87 octane.

Does anyone know if the 07 300C SRT Design is suppose to come stock with the Cruise Control Sensor behind the grill? The sensor will slow your car down when you have the cruise control set if your coming up to another vehicle that's driving slower.

Has anyone got the Blu-tooth system? If so, do you like it and is it working out ok?

I have the U-connect system factory installed on my 300C and it works great. It is a little time consuming to program the auto dialer with all your most frequently called numbers, but after that it all voice commands and hands free. I love it, since I can never seem to hold on to a little cell phone in my big hands. It is well worth the price and works with any bluetooth enabled cell phone. It is also invisible to anyone (cops included) in areas where cell phone use is illegal in moving cars.

I have a 2006 300C and I also had a problem with the seal (I think it was the "O" ring), however, there has been no problem with the transmission. There was a very small leak that I noticed right away, took the car into the dealer, replaced the seal (which only took about 1 1/2 to 2 hours) and have not had any leaks or any problems with transmission since that time, that was over 30,000 miles ago. I was told that they put the wrong seal in considering the size and/or weight of the HEMI engine as opposed to the 2.7 and 3.5 L engines, so they had to put a heavier/sturdier ring in. peace

Best Price on a 300C by sftl1

I'm negotiating a price for a 300C. The MSRP is $38,805 including destination. With leasing as a non-Chrysler loyalty customer, I'm now at $32,400. I think there may be a few hundred more I can get out of the deal, but not sure - any thoughts?

I had the exact same transmission oil leak on both of my 300C's at about 14,000 miles. As you said it was a "while you wait" repair. I took each one of them in on different days, went to lunch and came back and they were done. No problem since. The "O" ring cost was under $1.00 but covered under warranty. If that is the worst "problem" I have with my Chryslers, I will keep them forever!

I plan to purchase a chrysler (T&C) in the next two weeks. Test drove them all and hands off the T&C is by far the best price! Many thanks in advance for the code.

I highly recommend the Chrysler Town & Country. I have owned two of them over the last 16 years and they are by far the most useable and enjoyable vehicles I have ever owned. I currently own two 300C's, but my wife is missing her van so much I am now considering buying her a new T & C. Even though we no longer have any kids to haul around, we still enjoy the room and utility of using the van as a universal transport. One day it is a car, the next we use it as a truck, then maybe a mini-bus, then it is a really roomy long distance rolling bunkhouse. My wife like to make her bed in the back while I drive for 12 hours or more. When we arrive she is fresh as a daisy! That is a lot harder to do in a conventional car. I am really impressed with the new T & C. It is obvious that they designed it to improve upon an already great vehicle. It has a better engine, transmission, dash layout, seats and I really like the electric side doors with windows that can be lowered. The power lift rear door is cool. Gadget-wise I plan to get the navigation system with the MyGig system, the DVD system, and the U-connect system. I have used these things in my 300C's and I really like them. I also like the overhead console offered in the new T & C, with the led lighting. Chrysler invented the minivan, but now they are setting the standard for all others again.
