Reminds me of people paying nearly 30K for loaded PT Cruisers in the summer of 2000.

Or a Miata in 1989...I waited and paid 1/3rd what the original owner did. Drove it for 8 years and still got more than half my money back.

That Scion is in front of a dealer from a different brand, so at least it's not a Scion dealership. They're supposed to be a no-haggle environment and I'm sure Toyota would slap them on the wrist, and not allocate any more to them.

Then again, probably some under the table deal where they split the profit. Worst part is some DB will buy it.

Saw a Silver one parked outside the Ocean City, MD skate park. Wonder how they can afford one, or maybe they just parked there and walked to the beach?

Also another Prius V.

Then a Cooper Countryman S AWD this AM coming in.

Scion might not be able to ADM the car, but they can certainly make it up by seriously lowballing a trade in. Wink Wink Nudge Nudge.

Or slapping $3000 of accessories on it, at a cost of $1000...

It's a used car dealer, one that takes consignments too. Someone is trying to flip it. You're right about the DB part though, lots of surplus money floating around this neighborhood.

I paid 1/3 of MSRP for my E55 after 4 years and barely over 25K miles. I think I have fallen below the halfway point now though, guzzlers depreciate.

Or parents. 95 times out of 100 when an under 22 or so is in a new car, that's what it is.

Saw an E wagon, like those.

Went to the Cape for a few days and I cannot believe the number of Land Rovers, old and new in a 50 square mile island. I must've counted 100 of them all over the island, including quite a few old Disco's and Defenders. Heck, just in the parking lot at the port, I counted 7 RangeRovers out of about 12 cars that were parked! I guess it helps that there is a LR dealer in Hyannis, but man they are popular.

Other popular rides over there are all generations of 4Runner, many Jeeps and slew of Mini Coopers which, if I was living there, that would be my wheels.

Stopped by a Toyota dealer on the way home and checked out the new FR-S. Also spotted an R8 roadster, a Bentley Continental GT and yet no Range Rovers at all. lol
