Spotted both a new orange Mustang GT and a yellow Challenger on the PA Turnpike. Also spotted a Smart car on a secondary road outside of Elkins Park, PA.

I think the new 370Z is better looking.

Saw first one, at lunch, silver with dk grey wheels (don't like that color on wheels, looks like they're dirty). Doesn't look like much, but I'd be happy to have one... Coincidence - saw the Top Gear last night where they raced one across Japan against a bullet train, etc. Funny!

Is it just me, or is the new Challenger too tall and squat? It reminds me more of an old Duster than Barraccuda or Challenger.

I know what you're saying. From some angles it does look tall and narrow.

I agree, the noveau Challenger just doesn't have the rounded curves that distinguished the original, It's as if they'd squared it off and besides, it's too big.

...red-orange metallic BMW 1-Series. In this case a 135i.

All of my ambivalence about the styling of this car disappeared with the sight of this jet black GT-R. It's amazing what coat of shiny black paint will do for the looks of a car about which you are ambivalent. I've noticed the BMW 1-series coupe which looks a little tallish and/or cutesy in other colors looks sensational in black.

I saw a silver four-door backing out of a space and at first thought it was an E60 BMW 5 Series and I'm thinking "If you don't see the nose, that's a good-looking car".

Then he came around towards me and I could see that it was no Fiver but the new Hyundai Genesis and it was indeed a good-looking car for lacking the visual trauma of the E60's nose but retaing the clean sides and roofline.

Thus it is pretty generic but quite handsome in it's way.
