Replying to: merc1 (Jul 26, 2006 8:15 pm) My reason for concern is that MB management in Europe don't seem to understand MB's position in the USA.   In Euro markets the A class, taxi-spec C and very basic E class cars co-exist happily with the S, SL, CE and other premium models.   They may not perceive the image dilution that component sharing with Dodge/Chrysler would bring here in the USA. I just hope someone understands that a MB and a Chrysler can't ever be interchangable!   M
