| There seems to be a fair amount of 2006 X3s on the market with 2007s arriving and being sold or presold. Back in 2001, I bought my X5 4.4i this way. I waited until the initial model year run was over and got a great deal. What kind of deal can I expect to get on a 2006? The deals seem to be fairly good on the 07s - well below MSRP in many cases. An 06 deal should be great, shouldn't it? | |

They knocked $2,300 off MSRP for you and then made $1,415 of that discount back on the financing. You could have done a lot worse. Look at your lease docs. It should say what Acq fee they used and rolled into your lease. If it's higher than $625 then you'd have to adjust the money factor down until you got to the right payment. Hope that helps.

Hi all.....i am new to the board. I would appreciate everyone's advice. I spoke with the internet manager for a bmw dealership in nj. I am interested in a 2007 x3 with the following packages: Premium, Privacy glass, heated front seats, auto trans. I was quoted 469/mo (plus 9% PA tax, I live in PA), so that would be approximately 511/mo with $2400 down total. He originally mentioned 2800 down but told me he "discounted that by 400". He also stated that there would be no acquisition fee for the vehicle. That is for a 36 mo. lease with approximately 12k miles/yr. The 10k./year lease would be about 20/mo less. Could i get a few opinions on this deal? Do i have any negotiating room? Also, I have heard that if i was in the middle of the lease and found that i was "over" on the miles, that i could purchase more miles from BMW financial. Is this true and how much would this cost? I am trying to determine which option is cheaper. Thanks, AL

This is the best I found in the LA area from 4-5 dealers. This is my first lease, so I don't know most of the technicalities. Appreciate it if somebody could comment on how this sounds. The invoice looks to be about 44,900, so it's about 1200 over invoice, seems reasonable, most were discounting $1k-2k off msrp. TOTAL AS EQUIPPED $48,870.00 SELLING PRICE $46,125.00 Term 36 Months Mileage 15,000 /year Residual Value $31,765.50 Cash Due at Signing $1,602.87 Monthly Payment $539.86 Tax (8.25%) $44.54 Total Mo. Payment $584.40 Thx |
