A New Lease on X3 by tc9897

I got my lease on a new 2006 X3 3.0i yesterday: Silver gray metallic, premium package, and winter package, with privacy glass.

MSRP was $41090, but the final sales price was $38500. With no money down except for inception, the 24-month lease, 12k miles a year lease comes out to $422 a month or $455 with the 7% sales tax in NJ. The dealer is in central NJ.

I just joined the forum a few days ago -- and all the information on this forum was extremely helpful. Thanks!

...and I should add that the following figures were used during negotiation/calculation:

Residual value: 77%
Money factor: .00195

The residual value was what I expected going in, but the money factor was slightly higher. I had read that .00185 was the going rate with BMW Financial. They showed me the actual book for the dealers, and this seems to be the current rate. I can't figure out where the discrepancy comes from, but at $422 a month for a model with premium and winter package etc, with just $600 above invoice price, seems like a good deal.

.00185 was the money factor for June... .00195 is correct for July...

Looks like a great deal.. Enjoy your new BMW!!

Tonight, I got this deal on a sweet x3 sport:

$42,645 MSRP
$40,260 Sales Price
MF: .00195
10K miles, 24 months
3K cap cost reduction (I know you shouldn't, but I'm payment conscious)
$319/mo
It turned out to be about $2400 off sticker price, all in all I'm pretty happy.

2007 328xi Deal by dprecocious1

I am looking to lease a 2007 328xi in the next couple of weeks and have gotten quotes from a couple dealers thus far. I am interested in doing a European delivery and this is what I've been quoted:

MSRP: $50,515 (fully loaded except 18" wheels/tires)
Capitalized Cost: $47,000
Down Payment: ($8,724.34 (Includes title, tax, tags, destination, security deposit, and first two months payment)
Monthly payment: $611
Money Rate: .00335 or 8.04%

The money rate seemed kinda high to me just based on my own research online but they said it was because I was doing a European delivery. Is this a good deal or do you think I can do better if I shopped it around some more. With European delivery I get $2,595 off the North American MSRP. The invoice for a North American 328xi fully loaded is about $46,500. So the price doesn't seem too bad although I'd like to see if I can get lower. It the money factor that I'm most concerned about. Any thoughts or suggestions would be much appreciated from anyone.

Thanks!

A) The best deals are usually through BMW's captive finance company, BMWFS..

B) Most X3 leases will be around $11.50-$12.50 per thousand of MSRP per month... (40K MSRP = $460-$500 per month..+ tax)

C) Check out BMW X3: Lease Questions
