There is an aftermarket intake from K&N, headers from JBA, and exhaust from Borla.

I have 500+ miles on the truck now and have not experience the steering problems I have had since I got the truck. Hopefully it corrected itself?!?! I will post if the problem occurs again.

Since my last message, I experimented some more with various positions for the bug shield, amounts of tightening on the screws, etc. I also loosened and then retightened the hood latching mechanism. The short story is that the hood will now close and the bug shield looks good.

You should check out JBA headers and exhaust, they make pretty good headers and exhaust systems that bolt right up to our tacomas. and all the 05 stuff has just been realeased.

I have not come across ANY info on when the 2006s will be available. At this late date, I am thinking I'd rather wait. Anyone have any thoughts?

I think you mean you're too late for the 2005's. The 2006's should be out in mid to late September is what I've heard by people awaiting delivery. Production of the '06's begins this month.

I am looking for paintable running boards for the 2005 Tacoma (exclude the factory ones). I am disappointed in how many manufacturers have yet to build and test for this application. Does anyone know of a supplier for paintable running boards?
