I ended up driving to NH (I'm in MA) and got it for $17,665 (with a mat package). I felt like it was a good deal. Better than down here anyway. And the doc fee was about half of what you pay here. Just got the following internet (e-mail) quotes for 09 Jettas:   SE Automatic $19,999 SE Manual $18,999 Wolfsberg Manual $20,999   with $300 off and free window tint. Houston, Texas.   Is this a good price and are there any hidden items to watch out for?       Also - how much will an oil change / general maintenance on one of these cars run?

Replying to: carbuyer81 (Mar 25, 2009 2:51 pm) well, if you insist on the Jetta being the car for you, personally I have been shopping in the Honda line and over here (Baltimore) I've been offered a new Honda Accord on the road with all taxes and fees for $21,000 so I think the Accord is a much better car than the Jetta and the resale value will be much more in 3 or 4 yearsl That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!!!
