Replying to: camrnlendy (Feb 25, 2009 3:07 pm) considering a Jetta SE in the next few months but am torn between buying or leasing. They have some great lease rates out now. How do you like the Jetta so far, and what is your actual gas mileage. Is it comfortable and powerful out on the freeway?

Replying to: soroka24 (Mar 04, 2009 3:40 pm) after the 3 years? That is what you could purchase the vehicle for after the lease is over, should you choose to do so? I am shopping myself for a possible purchase within the next 6 months but not totally clear on what vehicle I want yet. I have an O3 Ford Taurus that I want to downsize. Leasing is ok if you do not go over mileage on it, but can be pricey if you do............ Good luck with your new one, sounds like a winner........... buckeyewayne |

Just got the following internet (e-mail) quotes for 09 Jettas: SE Automatic $19,999 SE Manual $18,999 Wolfsberg Manual $20,999 with $300 off and free window tint. Houston, Texas. Is this a good price and are there any hidden items to watch out for? Also - how much will an oil change / general maintenance on one of these cars run? |

Replying to: carbuyer81 (Mar 25, 2009 2:51 pm) I have been shopping in the Honda line and over here (Baltimore) I've been offered a new Honda Accord on the road with all taxes and fees for $21,000 so I think the Accord is a much better car than the Jetta and the resale value will be much more in 3 or 4 yearsl That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!!!
