| Bought a 2008 Jetta SE, Automatic, Rubber Mat Kit, and Euro Lip Spoiler for $20,400. Got a free oil change thrown in too. With $5,000 down/60 months/3.9% my monthly is $319. I'm in the Bay Area. | |
bought an 09 sportwagen SE for $22000 + TTL. seems like a good deal. anyway when it came to talk about the extended service plan dealer wanted $2400 for the 7yr/100,000mile warranty.... is that crazy high or is it smokin' reefer high??!!! what is invoice/cost on these service plans??

They may fall under your state's insurance regulations, but very few states regulate the prices. In most states, you can negotiate the price, just like any other part of the deal. I will agree that most VW owners wish they had an extended warranty.. regards, kyfdx |
