Also - the cost of the car I am looking at is listed at $13,595, which seems a very reasonable price for this car AND it has a clean CARFAX.

Hello,
I'm curious how Good Will Assistance works? I have just been quoted at the honda dealership for a faulty ANC and the system and 2 front speakers need to be replaced. They quote me $700 for parts and 3 hours of laboring totaling $1114!! My warranty just ran out (had I known I would have brought it in months ago when the noise began but I just dealt with it). Unfortunately I can't afford to pay that to fix my vehicle but it seemed like you lucked out with your procedure. Did you have a honda dealership fix this or had you brought it to another mechanic? Any help is appreciated!

actuator problem on 05 Acccord Hybrid by newhahowner

Last year The actuator went on the passenger side of my 05 Hybrid and Honda service replaced it for over $200. NOW just 14 months later thesame passanger side lock is not working again. Is this not odd?. Do you think Honda service did not repair it correctly? Shouldn't it last? Its very suspicious that its the very same one broke twice-but no problems with any other. I've had 4 Accords over 25 years and never ONE actuator problem.

When a dealer replaces something, there is usually some sort of warranty on it. Sometimes it is one year. Better call and check.

I did call back the dealer--and, like you said, --they said the warranty is one year.and my repair was 14 months ago. However I still don't think that is fair. How come the other 3 doors are still work, fine, and only the one that was repaired is broken again?
my question is --- WAS IT REPAIRED CORRECTLY?

I would call Honda corporate customer service and explain the situation to them in detail. They might be able to help you out.
