okay, I've been away for a few days,and am jealous of those of you who got your Xmas presents on time! I am still waiting for my graphite HAH to come in. Saturday will be three weeks since I bought it. Let's hope I don't make it to Saturday! Cheers- Dylan

Replying to: fxtool (Dec 27, 2004 10:10 pm) Please be patient. I only drove 31 miles my graphite HAH from the dealership to my home. And my 2 sons test drove it. Now it is in my garage until Jan 3rd when I drive it to work. I am sure you will enjoy it. Does yours have the NAVI.? It is so fun to drive the HAH with the assistance of the NAVI. |

Replying to: gagrice (Dec 27, 2004 7:36 am) I thought the Federal tax deduction for hybrids was based not on emissions rating, but on the fact the hybrids save gas over conventional vehicles? The deduction is to offset the cost of the hybrid components. If you look at the certification letters for other hybrids, emissions are not mentioned, just the point about the cost of the hybrid components.

Replying to: backy (Dec 28, 2004 6:32 am) That may be right. I thought you had to get 45 mpg combined to qualify. They got the Escape hybrid listed, yet the GMC hybrid PU trucks are not on the list. Maybe the manufacturer has to submit documentation proving an improvement over the conventional car. |
