This is the second time Lincoln could not get a pickup offering right--at least to the extent that it approached sales targets.   The Blackwood could have succeeded if it had had a 4WD option, and the option of an open bed. The LT, however, is just an F150 with a different grill. The 09 F150 is just around the corner. Designing even a badge engineered Lincoln model is likely not worth the investment.   No tears should be shed. If Lincoln wants a truck, design it from next generation's Navigator. Make it innovative, or forget about it. Replying to: clarksalmo (Jun 03, 2008 10:51 am) My seats still look almost new with some lines appearing after one and a half years and 16k miles on my 07. You need to keep them clean and condition them. Also, if they are cracked bad, the dealer should replace them. Replying to: lylet (Jun 03, 2008 11:54 am) I clean and condition them at least every 2 weeks, if not every week. I like a clean, well-maintained vehicle. I have more than a few lines, some of them are deep cracks that didn't appear on my Aviator, even at 50,00 miles. I'll try my dealer, they have always been very good to me.
