I just got an OTD price from dealer. Basic spec as below

2009 Mazda 3 5D Sport / Auto / Wheel locks / Gray Mica / All weather floor mats / Gargo mats.
OTD price is $ 19,878. Included all fees, tag and dealer fees.

Is it a good deal? Need to make a decision before tomorrow.

Thanks

Emailed all of the atl dealers where I could find an internet contact and Sutherlin came the best with the car closest to what I wanted/needed in stock and ready to go. I could have done without the mirror and have warmed up to the touring version with Stability and Traction

FYI I actually got a little bit better price from Rick Case but they would have had to drive the car in from South Carolina...if I would have stayed with a 2008.

Jim Ellis in Marietta and Hennesy in Southlake also put bids on the table and likely would have come in pretty close but I needed to move fast. Did all of the prelims on the internet.

FYI you can go to the Mazda site and see inventory in real time. The dealer sites are not good. Going to Mazda.com was how I was able to tell where the car one dealer quoted on was located and helped me move a little quicker. It was 200 miles away and I did not wnt the first 200 mile put on by one of their drivers

I also found that sales are way off and they are really willing to work a deal. Go the internet and Upromise routes and then follow-up from there. I would shoot for about 300 below invoice, let them get their 2% and their too high doc fees and you should be golden.

Good luck

Leisney, that is basically the deal I got. I got a manual tranny, traction control and ESC. You got auto. Auto is ~800 and traction and stability with a mirror is around 800.

So you deal is as good as mine.

Try to get a quote from Riverside Mazda. They have excellent prices and great customer service. Get everything in writing by e-mail messages before you go out there.

I'm not sure about the prices as I was comparing Mazda 3i touring value editions, so I don't know the prices on the sports model. The second best quote I got was from Norco Mazda, so contact them and compare them to Riverside Mazda. Make sure you are comparing apples to apples. Make sure they have the color and options you want and get everything by e-mail.

I think you should be paying about $1500 to $1800 below invoice. I can't remember what I ended up paying, you'll have to check my previous posts.
