#3648 of 5105 08' Mazda Sedan 4D, good deal or not?
by usrich

One dealer at Dallas area offer me the following prices for 08' Mazda Sedan 4D:
1. $17,000 (OTD) for 2008 Mazda MAZDA6 i Sport, one-time cash payment.
2. $ 15,035 (OTD) for 2008 Mazda MAZDA3 i Sport (auto transmission), 0%APR & 0%DOWN. (manual window)
3. $ 16,984 (OTD) for 2008 Mazda MAZDA3 i Touring, 0%APR & 0%DOWN.
4. $ 17,750 (OTD) for 2008 Mazda MAZDA3 i Touring VE, 0%APR& 0%DOWN.
Actually, I prefer MAZDA6. Is that possible that I can get better deal in town. For example $17000 with 0% APR or even less than $17000 with 0% APR? Any thoughts? How about the other 3 offers for MAZDA3? I will buy this week, really need help. Thanks a lot!!!

Not unless you try! Why not email the other dealerships and quote the price that you are being offered and ask them to best it?
#3650 of 5105 good price for 09 4dr GT in bay area?

hi folks,
i'm being offered the following prices in the bay area, CA for the 4dr grand touring auto with moonroof/bose cd.
2008 $23,580 out the door
and
2009 $23,360 out the door
the 08 has the spoiler. this is based on the employee s-plan as well. Any one got any good quotes lately in the bay area for the GT?
the dealer also wants to charge about 600 to put the spoiler wing on the back of the 09 which seems very bloated.
thanks a bunch

The last time I installed a spoiler on one of my cars I had my local body shop paint it for
$75 and I did the installation myself. OnlineMazdaParts.com has the prepainted lip spoiler for $280 and the prepainted wing for $320. Installation shouldn't take more than an hour or two, tops. If you aren't confortable doing the job, I'm sure that you can find a good body shop that will do it it for significantly less than your dealer is charging.

Hi guys,
I just got quoted 16,700 before tax for a 2009 automatic Mazda 3 I Touring Value, no extra options. Is this a good deal? The OTD price by my calculations would be about 18,300. I am in the Bay Area (San Jose), CA.
#3654 of 5105 2008 Mazda6 i Sport VE, good deal?

Hi Guys,
On September 2, I just bought a 2008 Mazda6 i Sport VE (with moonroof) at $16,800 OTD in Dallas TX, but got 6.99%
36 months finance deal as first new car buyer ($3000 trade-in and $4000 down payment=$7000 initial payment), the total interest is $1100 for the rest $9,800. Is that a good deal?
I plan to pay off as early as possible, say 12 months, in order to save interest payment. Anybody has thoughts on payment issue so that I can increase my credit score sharply?
Thanks!

got a OTD of around $18,500 for a 2009 i touring value edition with no extra options in Richmond, VA. 3% tax here. before fees and whatnot (300 dealer fees) they went down to $100 over invoice. I didn't buy.
#3657 of 5105 08 or 09 Mazda3's

Here in Cary NC, I was offerred $500 below invoice on 08 or 09 3's. I'm also trying to drive a 09 Honda Fit sport 5 speed today. What sucks is when you're ready to buy with no trade (sold it), you can find a car to save your life. But when you have a trade in, everything's available, and you car isn't worth jack diddly. I had to rent a car yesterday.
