I don't know how galves would be 50% off of the kbb or nada value unless the car is more than 5 years old or in the $2000 range. Good luck. --jjf Dallas here. Just looked at a 2008 Hatchback, silver with black interior, auto, BOSE, moonroof, etc. Dealer gave me a price of $22,700 plus TTL, plus some kind of $250 fee for a total of $24,368. Said they're offering 0% on 36 month purchase. Seems high to me. Any thoughts? Thanks |

Replying to: elenem (Nov 20, 2007 1:49 pm) I just got a 2008 grand touring auto with the Bose/Moonroof package for $21,600 plus the $250 "doc fee." 1.9% financing for 36 months. I'm in the Boston area. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------- was $21600 including tax?

I was offered dealer invoice on the last '07 Mazdaspeed3 Grand Touring at my local dealer. Good deal? Haven't started to discuss my trade yet, but wanted to get a feel for what people are paying. Happy Thanksgiving!

I bought my 2008 Mazda3i Touring manual transmission with ABS/SAB/SAC package for $17,373 out the door, from Hiley Mazda in Hurst, TX. They did not fool around. I met the internet guy and he said it would be $1100 off sticker which was slightly below invoice (MSRP = $17,245, invoice = $16,157, I paid $16,145 and Edmunds TMV was $16,970). It appears that some here got even farther below invoice, but I was impressed with their solid offer and professionalism. Plus they were the only dealer around that had the exact color I wanted (galaxy grey) with the options I wanted, so I didn't bicker or shop around too much. I told them I planned to pay cash and had no trade in (which was all true), I just wanted the best price. I was trying to decide between the 3i and 3s, and he said either way they'd take $1100 off sticker. I did end up financing because 2.9% was hard to beat, I can do better things with my cash. But I think telling them you are doing a cash deal cuts through some of the crap and eliminates the silly four square worksheet most dealers want to play around with. (Actually, I added $199 for window tint, maybe could have gotten a slightly better deal on that, but I wanted it done right away.) |
