#3200 of 5138 New 3s Hatchback
Aug 06, 2007 (5:16 pm)
This evening we picked up a new 2007 3s Sport Hatch w/automatic. This will be my wife's new car replacing a 1998 Escort. Needless to say she is thrilled with the extra zip the 3 gives her. We did some internet shopping before visiting a dealer. We ended up getting the car from Jim Ellis Mazda here in Atlanta and we were very happy with the whole experience. Here are the $'s:
Mazda3s Sport Hatchback in Sunlight Silver with Grey interior and auto: $17,165.00
Dealer fee 399.99
Total OTD $18660.89
I think this is a good price, considering it's almost under invoice including tax
We took advantage of the 0% finance offer from Mazda which makes the deal even better.

I bought from Jim Ellis as well and got a great price. Well worth the 4 hour trip.
#3202 of 5138 Rebates on 2007 Mazda 3 this fall?
Aug 07, 2007 (5:00 am)
Will we see rebates on remaining 3s this fall? I realize there are special APR offers right now but wonder if they will increase the incentives as the yearend nears. Any thoughts?
#3203 of 5138 mazdaspeed3 prices paid

Anyone paying anything less than msrp on a mazdaspeed3?
Also, what dealer fees did you pay? They seem to like to tack that on to the 'price" these days, so it helps to know if you paid msrp plus fees or msrp and no fees or whatever.

That's the exact car I am looking at, except an '07. When I priced up the invoice I came to $17,900.I have not received a firm number from the dealer yet but I was hoping to get it for $400 under invoice.
For another $500 maybe I should be looking at the 08's if that is all the price difference is.

killer deals on a few mazdas at the local dealer...
they had a 3 s TOURING hatch going for 18500 ADVERTISED price.
i thought that was pretty sweet. the interest was 5.8 for sixty months.
#3207 of 5138 Trading up from '05 - '07
Aug 13, 2007 (8:42 pm)
My car has a boat load of problems so I'm gonna try again for an '07 GT. More features and hopefully the issues I've had have been worked out.
Galaxy Grey GT MSRP- $23,150 and he's only offering $22,206 (invoice is $21,545). Again, it's an '07 so don't you think they should be more aggressive with lowering the price? They've also low balled my trade in as Edmunds had $12,725 and they offered $11,500. Sounds like I have more negotiating to do, eh???
#3208 of 5138 is this a good deal?
Aug 13, 2007 (9:26 pm)
a dealer has offered a 2008 Mazda 3 'S' Sport Sedan with a 5 speed manual and Moonroof/6CD package for $17,562($18,900 msrp) plus $218 t/t. should i jump on this? would asking to addd leather seating, and offering $17,000 t/t out the door be asking too much? also, i'm not too familiar with when the year-end date is for the model, would anyone know when it is? i might wait until then to jump on a 2007 instead.
