Picked my car up lastnight. My car is so badass I LOVE IT!

Phantom Blue looks different in every light. I'm so glad I went with it. It looks nothing like the chip you see in the brochures or online.

They through in All-weather mats and the body colored door guards too! All for $19,292.00. I think I made pretty good.

Looking at buying a new Mazda3 for our daughter who is going to college in Sept. Does anyone know when is the best time to buy a 2007 - would it be July/August before the 2008 comes in Sept? Also, do you know if there will be any rebates for college students?

I am looking to buy a 2007 Mazda3 s Touring 4 dr sedan for my daughter. Options would include 1MC Moonroof and 6-CD changer and Black Leather Seat Upholstery. What is the best price we could anticipate. I have seen model w/o the leather seats for $14,990. Would it pay to buy it and put in the leather seats after? If so does anyone know of a good aftermarket company in the Long Island area that I could get estimates from. We are looking to put $10-12K down and finance the balance. Does anyone know when Mazda runs their sales for 2007 models - is it in the summer?

Please respond soon as we are looking to purchase this vehicle in the next week or so.

Hi all,
This is the first time I ever post a message. I'd appreciate input on an offer I'm getting from a dealer (I'm in Chicago).
This is an online offer so I'm not sure if I can haggle to bring down the price or if I can even expect to get a lower price...

Thanks!

Silver Mazda3-S sedan with auto, ABS/SAB/SAC pkg.

$17,254.00 Car (includes destination charge)
$58 doc fee
$1558.08 tax
$143 plates
$19,013.08 out the door includes Chicago tax and all dealer fees

We passed on the mazda leather when we bought our 3s back in 2005. Looked and felt cheap to us and not as smooth as other leather we have seen and felt in other cars. In the case of mazda, I'd definitely go with aftermarket leather. Think you'd find it of better quality ans smoother. Check with the dealer as to who they farm their leather out to and go see them and compare. Definitely worth it.

Looks like you are getting a very good deal. I live in Chicago NW suburbs and looking for the same car & options except that I want it in Galaxy Gray Mica.

Can you tell me which dealer you got this offer from? Maybe we can buy together and get a better price. Let me know.

before you go to the dealer, try to find the lowest APR% car loan from a bank, such as bank of america, chase, etc.
you tell them the estimate of the car value and they will give you a blanck check. don't let the "mazda" dealer connect you with a bank that will give you some high rate loans. i had good credit and mazda was so stingy not to give me a car loan. i had to go to bank of america to get a nice decent rate loan. 5.6% for 5 years.
to tell you the truth i recommend you the mazda 3 hatchback 5 door, 2.3 engine. trust me alot of people are gonna turn heads when you drive by. the hatchback seems to have a lexus type of body style more than the sedan you are trying to buy. besides the sedan doesn't look too attractive. yellow, black mica, or charcoal gray colored are the hottest colors right now.. silver is nice but its played out.

listen, i bought a mazda 3s hatchback. tag price was $20,500 and lowest they gave me was $18,900. it was well equipped with moonroof, sports seats, etc. but with no leather seats, no navigation. not including taxes, extra warranty, documentation. this was back in 2005 DECEMBER, dealer was located right by chicago ridge mall, oak lawn. my car drives great, no problems, etc. i get alot of envy at my workplace. love my car. by the way make sure the car you buy is made 90% or so directly from japan.

Best Pricing? by ike3

Anyone had any experience with Wayne Mazda? Supposed to be the largest volume Mazda dealer in USA. Also in the top 20
was Gunther Mazda, Delray Mazda and Palm Beach Mazda in FL. And the other one I was interested in was Walser Mazda in Burnsville, MN. Yes, I do get around! Anyone that has experiences with any of these or other NE/Midwest/FL dealerships, with actual numbers, please respond here or PM me. Financing aspects, I'm not really interested in. Many posts on this forum are spending alot of time with the nuances of financing. This will be a cash deal, period.

Wayne Mazda has the largest inventory in the NY Metro Area. They are claiming to be the largest in the Northeast. Haven't heard being the largest in the US though. I've been to that dealer and they do really have a HUGE inventory. It's just that when I was buying, I really want a 3S GT 5door 5M. They only have auto-sticks at that time and I'm really tired of driving automatics, even though it's an auto-stick.

Wayne Mazda and Maxon Mazda in Union has somewhat a partnership. Maxon Mazda has about half of Wayne's inventory which is not bad. They do have one of the smallest inventories in the NY Metro Area. But their sales people are great! Look for Denise if you're interested in this dealer. They even had a promo at that time of evaluating your trade-in at $4000 regardless of condition, as long as it is running fine!

I ended up buying mine in Sansone Rt 1 Mazda in Avenel, NJ. Would I suggest that dealership? A big no. The only reason I bought mine there was they have what I want. And they've only given mine at 22575 with the options (MSRP around 23000, Invoice at 21800). My salesperson is ok but their Finance Managers are the worst I've seen so far.

In the NY Metro Area, try to avoid the NY dealers, NJ dealers are much better and have better inventories. Last time I've checked, Wayne has 20 Speed3's! While the NY dealers only have 2 or 3 in their lot.

mp6466 - I totally agree! Everytime I pulled up on a parking lot at a Wal-Mart, Target, Home Depot or any mall, it just turns heads. I've always been approached by anyone, just wanting to get a glimpse of my car. It really has that Lexus look. Yes, silver is somewhat sold to many people already and mine is silver, but because of the uniqueness of the 5door, it still amazes a lot of people.
