I was also very surprised that they would go under the pricing on the S-plan. I thougtht the most I might get is the S-plan price, which was $18001plus tax, minus the Gerber rebate. I did not think they would even let me use the rebate with the S-plan. I guess they can actually go lower than the S-plan in some situations. I really shopped around before I got this price. Some places would not come close to this and that is why I came back on this site to ask if I got a good price. I figured that someone might have found a dealer that would give even a better price than I got, but I was safisfied with what I paid. I got my great deal from Suburban Mazda in Troy MI. Even if some people think this car looks like a grocery getter or boring station wagon, this car is a blast to drive! |

We got a great price from our dealer here in Coconut Creek Florida. I was charged the invoice price minus the $500. Mazda coupon plus their own free gas for 6 months coupon or $300. We feel that we were treated fairly and they even threw in some port installed options that we didn't want. So far, great car. When should the mileage #'s increase, as they're pretty low right now. I've heard different opinions. Some say after the 1st oil change...other's say at about 5k mileage. Anybody really know the answer to this? The Sandman |

I have forgotten what the S-plan price was and I don't know how I came to $18001. The invoice price is $18007, maybe I confused it with this number. I do know though that in the end I got the a the car (hatch with ABS package, moon rooof package, and manual trans) for $17762 and that is with tax and the Gerber rebate. I think the S-plan price without tax was $17439, and they gave me the car for $17150 before tax and the Gerber rebate. Sandman, did you get a hatch or a sedan? Either way I am so happy I got this car instead of the Tc.

Replying to: keycard (Jul 01, 2005 3:20 pm) i am looking at a m3si w/AT and power pkg. they are quoting $17,200 seems fair until i look at this site and others are getting thousands under invoice. wondering if it is our lack of stock that they aren't willing to move. are your quotes for sedan or hatch?

I wish I could remember, but I think that the destination fee is ADDED to the S-plan price. I am having a hard time finding my print out of the S-plan pricing, but I am almost certain that at the bottom of my pricing list there was fine print that said the destination fee's were not included in the S-plan price. I am almost positive of this. I think you see why I was surprised at the price I got the car for. I can not seem to find what site I found the S-plan pricing on or I would attach it for you here. |

Replying to: zazazoom (Jul 06, 2005 8:14 pm) Did you get any other offers, it seems to vary by location. Some people in the North/Northeast are paying invoive--while it doesn't move as well here in the West Coast (So we are getting below listed invoice...etc..) ANd don't forget to try and use your Gerber coupon. |

What does your handle in here mean? Did you also attend summer camp for years and years in the northeast like I did? Great times those 9 years I spent at the same summer camp. We got a S sedan in Sunlight Silver and could'nt be happier. Hoping the gas mileage improves. But hey, we've got under 300 miles on it. We got the 4 speed manumatic tranny and wheel locks. Turns out there's an alarm on the car also. They put on the VIN etching in the windows and put a nice grey pin stripe on it. We ordered the silver door edge guards and they arrived at the dealership this afternoon. Got it at invoice price minus $800. in coupons. No complaints there. Zoom Zoom! The Sandman |

Replying to: dasidi95 (Jul 06, 2005 12:58 pm) did my research all on the internet, and he had the best number and then brought it down more. |

I did not get the Vin etched on my windows - but I did notice all of my windows (except the little rear ones) have the same set of number etched on them. Could be some kind of production code - but it sure looks like someone went to some trouble to get all of the same numbers on my car. Anyone know what these numbers are? |
