Each person gets a unique code - so don't bother asking for someone to post theirs. http://www.irv-silverpop.com/mazda/gerber/ Dennis

| If you are talking about the $500 dollar coupon from Mazda that is sent with some kind of certification number via email, I think that has to be used with the Gerber coupon? | |

Hello, I just found this forum Sunday night. I'm need to close a deal on a Orange hatchback manual with moonroof, ABS, leather, xenon and appearance package for $18,250 by Thursday. I registered with Mazda tonight and got an e-mail from Gerber on Monday. We'll be closing the deal long distance Wednesday or Thursday and I'm concerned about the rebate. Can this paperwork be handled days after I buy the car when I pick it up? The dealer was not familiar with the Gerber rebate. They actually said that there were no cash incentives on this car. Can someone direct me to an explanation of what the S-plan is? I mentioned it to one dealer and they were surprised that i knew about it. Which I don't. He told me it was a plan for Mazda employees only. That true? Thanks, Gary B. |

We bought this car yesterday, now they have to locate it. We used the $500. coupon from Mazda and the dealership had sent some coupons to us in the beginning of June. The "Free Gas For 6 Months" coupon...$300....had no experation(?) date, so they reluctantly accepted it. The invoice price said $17,035, which is the price the internet manager gave us. They then deducted the $800. of coupons for a total of $16,235. He even rolled his dealer fee into that price...as I don't like to pay dealer fees and it was his idea. Then we added on T,T & L. They gave us $4,000. for our trade...Terry was right on with that one. Hopefully they will locate the car this morning and we'll pick it up tomorrow afternoon. Eventhough she wanted the Titanium color, she finally decided on the Silver S. Hopefully we'll be "zoom zooming" tomorrow night! The Sandman

The Free Gas coupons, did they automatically send you those when you applied for the Gerber Coupon, or did you get it when you did a Internet price quote? The wife wanted the (3) with: Auto, Moonroof+ CD package + ABS---Anyone have any ballpark figure in the SF/Bay area.. Thanks, Keycard

This came right from the dealer with some other coupons that had expired on June 10th. The gas coupon had no end date so they reluctantly accepted it. With us, they used the $500. as a downpayment plus they would only allow $2500. to be put on the Shell Mastercard. Now all they need to do is locate a car, which they just called and said possibly tomorrow and definitely by friday, as a ship just docked up in Jacksonville. We'll see though, but he did say the deal is made and they will honor it even if it goes into the early part of next week. So far, they've been pretty upfront and their location is sweet...right outside our development, like 2 1/2 miles door to door. Will keep y'all posted. I think we did pretty good with getting invoice and the use of the 2 coupons and getting an acceptable price on our trade which Terry nailed to the dollar! The Sandman |
