You're wright, it cost more fuel. To save some fuel when I'm on the highway I just turn the fan off. The a/c turns off at the same time. At the highway speed theres anough air flow to keep the windows from condensating...at least in the front!

Replying to: gib11 (Jan 10, 2008 6:54 am) I think the problem with turning the fan off when you have an A/C equipped car is potential growth of mold. I always have the fan running at the minimum speed for that reason. |

I am in the market for a Mazda 3 but after reading this board I am having second thoughts. What I like to know is how come no ones have decide to form a class action lawsuits on these issues that was brought up on the board????

My 2007 Mazdaspeed3 has been trouble-free in the 10,000 miles I've owned it, and I suspect that is true for the vast majority of Mazda 3 owners. Extrapolating any brand of vehicle's reliability from the amount of complaints found on message boards is a fool's errand. |
