I've just got the news from my local dealer that I may need to replace the intake manifold for $1200.00. I have a 2004 with 63000 miles. I noticed a clicking noise at about 53,000 miles. I own the 2.0 liter which is the 3i. Has anyone out there had the same problem? Any ideas on a less expensive solution?

Does any of this seem normal Sounds like the fan is working normally. If your moving when your car is whistling it's likely your tires. Just sing along and be happy!
