Dashboard Scuff mark by jdfixup

Hi,

I have a question concerning my 2007 Mazda 3 GT, the dashboard is a little bit scuffed or you can even say scratched. The scratch is not deep at all. I was wondering if there something I can put on it or a safe cleaner I can use that will hide or remove that mark. Will Amour all cleaner do the trick. I can't stand that little white mark. Please let me know if there something I can use to get rid of it. Thank you so much for your help.

I had marks on my dash and I use leather/vinyl cleaner and protector that I got at auto zone. This took away the marks and scratch. Another thing that you could do, like I have done to all of my cars, add a front and rear dash mat to your car. I only buy the velour style, Solid black. That does the trick every time.

I am against armorall, since it is so shinny and becomes sticky after a year or two. No car manufacture recommends armorall.

Thank you so much for the help stallionre.

I was wondering what other stores carry the leather/vinyl cleaner and protector. Would Canadian Tire have it? and is that the name of the cleaner or is there a specific name for this?

I would like to also know if this cleaner comes in a spray can form or just bottle form.... sometimes the people at the stores won't know what there talking about and might give me the wrong thing.

Thanks again for your help.

I bought mine at Kragen. They come in either a spray or a bottle. It is like a paste. Never spray on the dash at all, spray on a wax applicator or terry cloth, with no lint and wipe on, let dry and polish off with a clean cloth. I also used the same product but for full leather on the seats of the car, big difference in shine, feel and smell. It was $8.99 a bottle.

Hello all. This is my fifth new car Mazda purchase (previous: 3 proteges, then Mazda 3s), 3s grand touring manual w/moonroof and bose option, mica blue.

This is a great car for the money. A blast to drive (and I love acceleration of the standard shift - zooming out in front of other cars from a stop), if the past is any indication, never a mechanical problem, great interior design.

As close to flawless as it gets in this price range.

I was toying with the idea of trying a 3
SPEED but will wait til the next go-around I guess (2-3 years.)
