Hello all. I was just here yesterday about the concern of my dash board and thanks to stallionre I know have that taken care of. I know have another de lima to go over. I own a brand new 07 mazda 3 GT. Just yesterday when I opened my drivers door the silver part where the windows remote are. I saw a clean straight line which is know clearly been narrowed down to a scratch. I was shocked to find this I went to the passenger side and again another straight scratch. I was know freeking, brand new car 07 mazda 3 GT and I find those marks. I was sure the marks were not part of the car and thats because no known marks were identified at the back seater they were still silver clean. I need to know how to get rid of these marks and if any one has come across this. I would really appreciate the help. I will upload the picture to my server and will circle the marks in red so it can be easier to see. I thank for everyone help. Drivers Side Passenger side

If that does not work, you can always buy those two panels and replace them with new ones. I see many cars that have red, blue, black, and silver panels that they use. Hope this helps.

Replying to: stallionre (Apr 18, 2007 6:55 am) How can I tell if what I have is a scratch or a mark, if I use the polish and it is a scratch it should not ruin the material. In the other case if it is a mark it should clear it up. I probably will stop by a Canadian Tire auto place, what should I ask about the spray. Thanks for your help again.

Replying to: stallionre (Apr 18, 2007 10:52 am) I went to the dealership today to let them look at the silver plates near the window remote, where they have been scratched. I found out that they were scratched up and they would replace it under warranty. My question is how simple are these plates to come apart and how to they do it. My concern is once they take it apart, something might be loose or they might not do it properly. I am just worry about them taking the car apart. Any feedback would be great thank you. |

She's pretty much stock w/grey interior (didn't want to be too hot during the 100+ degree summers here), tint, and short antenna. I don't have the Touring or the GT like most everyone else here but I love my car! I am kinda having some regrets of not getting the touring but at the time the dealership I went to didn't have what I wanted & I didn't want to wait because my old car was asking for repairs. There are only 2 Mazda dealerships in my state & even though the other one had the Touring model I wanted (no sunroof & color), I would Never give them my business; their sales And service are Horrible!! This is my 2nd Mazda; first was a 01' Protege. I'm hoping for many years of "zoom~zoom" w/ my 3! |
