Replying to: bfromhold (Oct 10, 2006 1:10 pm) Congrats on your MCS. I am glad you are having fun with it. Thank you so much. I feel much better. I thought of the same issues and hence I went for the 2006. I just placed an order yesterday, it will take 4-6 weeks for delivery |

| Are there in MC owners in Northwest Florida? If, so can you tell me where the authorized repair/service dealer are? I am purchasing a used MC and wanted to have it checked out by a certified facility. | |
| What do you think? Has Mini Jumped the Shark? | |
Hey, im Pringle. I'm only 19 and have owned a Mini for about 4 years now. I had a 2004 Mini Cooper S for a while and traded that in for a 2007 Mini Cooper S. Mini can never let me down, and I will never be without one.

Replying to: dan129 (Feb 13, 2008 10:35 am) Reliability has never been an issue: I start Scoopie up, and she merrily goes wherever I steer her. If u're ever in the DC area, I'll Mini-wave atcha! |

Replying to: amazingstar (Feb 14, 2008 12:43 pm) First of all, I'm jealous of your name. LOL j/k; Violet just happens to be my fav color. Well, lemme tellya ... I was a Honda owner for several years, too! Started out w/the little Civic Hatchback, then got the special edition Honda Accord Coupe, and ended up w/the 4-door Honda. Long story short, I ended up w/the Mini after seeing the Italian Job and was hooked. Spent awhile (about a year) contemplating, researching, etc., and ended up 'building' one on the site in '06 when they offered the Purple Haze color: needless to say, that was it for me! I'm sooo happy I got mine when I did, because they no longer offer the color! Regarding all the bells and whistles you currently have, yes, it's a little pricey. I don't have all that in mine. I opted for the S model because I like the extra horsepower; mine also came equipped w/the Cold Weather Pkg (heated seats and side view mirrors, etc.), the Harmon Kardon stereo system, and the interior was just what I liked--dark gray anthracite (what I had 'built' on the site). I don't need anything else. I think you should test-drive one and decide from there. I live in DC, but work in VA and, let me tell u, having Scoopie makes the commute worthwhile and fun. You could compromise a bit and get a bluetooth headset: it's cheaper and more mobile! Have fun, and I hope u're havin' a lovely Valentine's Day! Vi |
