How many miles do you have on your vehicle? If below 90,000 get rid of it, the whole car falls apart afer 90K miles.

Every car brand has good and bad batch... Our 2004 RX330 AWD is holding up fine. We bought it used with 36K miles in Nov 2008. Now it has 67K. outside the warranty, I had the foggy RH headlight that Lexus replaced ($1480!!!!) minus $500 that I agreed to pay. I had a leaky radiator that I replaced myself with an aftermarket one and then found out Lexus had a hidden warranty that would have replaced it free. Other than these two, no issues. I have replaced the battery and all brake pads. Rotors are about needing replacement.

I think the paint and interior are holding up really well.

I think I had a similar problem corrected by changing the old, dirty a/c filter near the glove box

Now have 98000 on my 04. Had lights replace at 36000k they started to go bad again at 60000k Lexus refused to do anything. Solved the problem by locating the area of infiltration and sealing it off with silicone sealer. At 85000k miles I did a complete 90000k mile recommended service also installed new water pump, all new plat plugs and wiring, rear brakes (had done the front earlier) and it runs like a top. Regularly change cabin filters and change oil with filters very 6000k miles and use only synthetic oil. I believ that most cars will last way beyond 100000k miles with proper care and maintenance. I fully expect to get 200000k miles on this one since the body is still in perefct shape.

#1812 of 1861 Rear Qtr Window Trim 2004 RX330 by ckimball50

Aug 08, 2011 (9:53 pm)

Noticed that my rear qtr window trim had fallen off resently, drivers side first and then the passenger side. I thought someone had stolen them. Went to dealer who informed me that they just fall off! In order to replace trim I have to buy window as well, it comes as a kit. Never heard something so rediculous in my life. Now I'm back to thinking they were taken in the night. Anyone have a suggestion on where I might get just the trim?

I experienced the same problem 3 years ago on the right side. Although they said it was a common problem, the dealer would do nothing. So I sent an email to Lexus customer service. They responded promptly with a $350.00 voucher that could be used for any Lexus service.

#1814 of 1861 fuel consumption by eeffiong

Aug 27, 2011 (2:50 pm)

i bought a lexus rx330 3months ago, the fuel consumption has been abysmal. On the info display, the average MPG reads btw 12.4-13.3mpg driving within town.
Anyone has any idea the cause of this? i'm so disappointed, expected better fuel consumption.
I've never travelled out of town with the vehicle, wondering if the display is wrong or the vehicle is has a problem that makes it consume so much fuel.

My 2004 RX 330 does this as well. I have 216,000 miles with no issues so other than this being a little annoying don't be concerned.
