Wheww! I finally did the deed and got it all over with. I wanted to share my experience and deal with everyone. But, first a big special thanks to Thene and Waterfowler for helping me so much in sealing my deal. So here it is, right off the sheet...2005 Titan KC SE 4x4 w/ Captains,floor mats and pinstripe   $24,789 = Negotiated price - 2,500 = Nissan Rebate $22,289 = Price before TTL and Fees + 199.99 = Doc Fee $22,488 OTD (didn't pay the 3.25% sales tax yet because I will tag/title the truck in another state)   So basically $23,218.36 including TTL   I couldn't have been happier with the deal...I was worried about it at first because I had driven 13 hours and felt like if I was put into a bad spot I didn't have much leverage to walk...But I had the deal worked out and brought the printed email along with me. Pulled into the dealership,the truck was at the "overflow" lot, got in it,drove directly to the gas station,then straight into the wash bay,then walked into the financing office. The salesman was a older gentlemen and a no BS kind of guy who worked very hard for me and I felt like I got a great deal! I would strongly reccomend checking into the internet department at a Nissan dealership in Fayetteville, AR. I felt it was worth my drive. Just bought a Titan LE Crew with big tow package, floor mats. $32,148 after $2250 rebate. Buyer's regret? Haven't even picked up up from the dealership yet. Good deal? Bad deal? Avg? It had an MSRP of 33570 and he was selling it for 27175 plus TTL and a $250 processing fee. In this area you can easily buy WAY below invoice. Replying to: jhs70 (Aug 31, 2005 8:39 am) My deal was almost exactly like yours. 4X2, CC LE, minimal options, $27k +TTL. worked out to about $1000 under invoice once I de-gamed the trade-in back to what my firm cash offers were (on old vehicle). I think with $3+/gal gas, they will be begging you to take them in a month or so, if you can hold out.

I've had my new truck for only 3 short weeks. I traded in a 30mpg paid for car to get a 14mpg power monster just in time for $3 gasoline. I have no regrets. It rides well, is smooth, lots of power, and the power features are really great.   It has the rear bumper sonar - did not think much of it until I started driving - real nice feature.   The 5 disc cd changer is nice. Very pleasant to put in your library of best CD's burned from the computer and it plays perfectly.   I also went ahead and picked up the "tent kit" for the bed. Just a nice accessory for those long vacation road trips.   I'm not a vain fellow - but two people have complimented me on the "nice truck" thing while at the gas station.   When I heard Nissan donated 50 Titans for Katrina relief - I knew I found the right package. Great truck.   As a former Chevy truck owner for 25 years, I'll never go back. Nissan quality is excellent and they stand behind their product.   I've had so many bad experiences with GM - plus my father has had big problems with his 2001 Tahoe. He's given up on GM too - sad to see a great industrial giant go down the tubes like that.   Titan may not have large market penetration now, but given a few years they will really put a dent in GM and F-150 territory.   As for Ford - at leat they circled the problem. GM is in denial.

I'm looking at a 2006 LE CC 4x4 w/ DVD, Tow, and Offroad. Is list too much to pay these days? Can you get a dealer below list on a new year model? (I know a '05 might get below invoice, but we could not find our configuration in an '05 ANYwhere.) There is the $1000 rebate on the 2006 that takes it to below invoice, but I was hoping to get the dealer below invoice BEFORE the rebate. Yes, I'm a little greedy, but I just don't want to leave money on the table.   Any thoughts?

I bought a Nissan Titan Crew cab, smoke colored, last month and love the truck. Just want to know if I paid too much for it, I feel that I got a great deal. It has a lot of room on the inside. I've actually gotten a few compiments on the truck. It is a 2004 Nissan 4X4 Crew cab with 24,000 miles. It comes with 6 CD player, XM, spay on bed liner, power locks, doors, windows, AC, floor mats, cruise control, and security system. I paid 24,000 for the truck, just wanted to hear from other Titan owners if I got a good deal or not.
