#698 of 2455 X5 IS OVER PRICED

In my opinion i think the X5 is overpriced. I went to Desert BMW out here in las vegas and the $59k for a car thats msrp is $45k????? They also didnt have the color i wanted. We told the guy we didnt want the 3rd row seat but he tried to order us one with that and premium pkg and everything under the sun. We just wanted a base 2007 X5 3.0 SAV for under $50k. Instead we bought a 2007 Mercedes Benz ML350. I am very happy.

Hello,
I just wanted to tell you that $920 a month is a pretty good price for the BMW. BMW will always be overpriced so never think youre going to get a good deal. I hope you like your new X5!!!!!
#700 of 2455 Buying a BMW X5 3.0 in Chicago

I noticed majority of the postings are "leasing" related, I was thinking of "buying" a 2007 BMW X5 3.0 in Chicago because I've been leasing cars for the last 10 years. Why aren't people "buying" them? If I want a monthly payment of $700 what price and down payment would be expected?

You can read the details of my deal in the BMW lease question forum. My deal was 2k off sticker plus I was charged only $890 for the towing kit which is usually about 1000-1200. I did the deal over the phone on Wednesday & picked up the car on Saturday.

www.bmwusa.com -> Owner Circle -> open account
Once you've logged in goto, Manage My BMW -> Order Tracking
You will need your production number to open a new account
Hope this helps.

GAILBNY,
I read your posts on thos forum & other "X5 leasing" forum.
I saw that u leased x5 at $1000 over invoice & .0023 MF in California.
May i know which dealership you chose & how much was the down payment??
I've asked you this question before also... If you read this post PLEASE reply.
I've gone to most dealerships in Bay area to see if I can get similar deal..most of them either laugh it off...or they match the price but jack up the MF..
Any negotiations TIPS??
